  3. Hello Decoy, thank you for the information. I don't want to be very controversial, but I have exposed several questions in my post and it does not seem correct to dismiss everything with a link (which among other things only answers a single question and only partially - there I did not find a precise timeline for the Mirage). However, since here we are in the Harrier thread, what are the planned interventions for it and on what dates will they be released? I'm not talking about bugs, but I'm referring exclusively to the missing features. We simply need a short list with the planned improvements and related delivery dates. If you do not have this kind of information then it's starting to worry ... if there are no activities planned for the Harrier in 2019 in order to complete the module with the missing features, presumably it means that we will pass, perhaps, to 2020 to see some new features ... maybe ... Thank you.
  4. Premise: I fully agree with all the complaints expressed up to now. I resume the DECOY post: Very well. But what will be done for the Mirage? What for the Harrier? When? Will all Mirage resources go to the Harrier? For which reason it is not possible to make two parallel strands dividing the effort of the resources (obviously the implementation time lengthens for the single module, but at least no one is left waiting for months, or maybe years)? The thing that annoys me most is that buying an EA we are supporting the company and therefore our trust should be reciprocated. This with transparent and shared schedules. But this does not happen. No one is surprised by any delays, it can happen, but in 10 years of work in the IT field, it has hardly happened to me to see such a lacking and inefficient project management towards a customer. A customer who has already paid, I repeat. A customer who trusted the company by buying an incomplete product, I repeat. If I worked like this in project management I do not know how long I could last ... That said, is it so difficult to provide a lineup with ongoing activities and related schedules for release on DCSW open beta?

  7. yes no problem found NTFS read / written by admin user yes and I'm logged in with admin profile as above now clean install with no addons and no modules (only stock caucasus + tf51d and su25t) most of the times the game crashes after initial splash screen with dcs logo. randomly i've reached in-game menu (two times over hundreds of trials) but launching instant mission the game crashes only dedicated video card std resolution done. in attach: dx diag, auto update log and dcs log(with full verbose). important note: never had one single problem till last update (2.5.3.22877). no changes made onto my system before last update thx again dxdiag.txt autoupdate_log.txt dcs.txt
  8. Hello Ian. 1. Full wipe out done of graphic drivers and then clean install. I've noticed sometimes the row with graphic card details is reported, but the game crashes anyway (the content of log file is almost identical every time it crashes unless some little detail as the above mentioned row about graphic card model/ram) 2. Clean command executed, even if i had no mods installed. Thus dcs was uninstalled and then a fresh install was performed 3. My W7 x64 is running the latest updates (with all SP and all patches) 4. I've lost the original update log since a fresh install was performed. Do you want to check it anyway? Thx a lot.

Premise: we are all aware of the complexities of development for a high-fidelity two-seater module and even weapon control systems; we are also all aware that 4 years ago we bought a beta product. However, arrived today it seems unprofessional to continue to remain approximate on the release plan for the missing features. After almost 4 years it seems right to repay clients' trust with precise dates. If at this moment there are no exact dates I think there is a big problem: the serious probability that the project will never see the end. If, for aviodev, it is no longer possible to speak of estimates in contingency, the consideration mentioned above does not seem so remote. Thus is there a detailed plan that you can provide to the customer with the release dates and related content?

  13. This BUG was reported on 13-Nov-2016 and BIGNEWY explained (12-Dec-2016) the BUG was scheduled as high priority task. ED is working on it since two weeks at least; therefore at this point, is it possible to give us a release date for the patch? I know the Su25T is neglected (for certainly understandable reasons; anyway it's a very frustrating thing), but It's necessary to keep an intact operating profile for the aircraft, to which the whole community that comes from Lockon is strongly fond. Thx a lot.
  14. External ECM pods on SU25T are not so effective against powerful SAM radars. SAMs are very clever on tracking targets despite the little jammers SU25T employs. Anyway to test ECM pods you can follow SU25T AI from another radar equipped aircraft and try to lock the frogfoot while managing the AI to enable and disable the ECM pods.

  17. Hi all. With both Laser and Shkval\Mercury enabled, the PPT Mode works (but it should work with laser ONLY). Remember this kind of feature works only on vertical plane; thus if you go straight towards the target you can only vary the strafing slant (pitch axis), with a very small tolerance on roll and yaw axis. A good approach could be: -Place the nose towards the target and go into altitude leveled flight and quite fast (550-600 km\h) -Select gunpods and set PROG mode; preferably remove the salvo cut-off too -Activate the Shkval or Mercury tv and enable the Laser -Lock the target -When in range press down the trigger and do not release it until the assault is finished Thus if you go fast, straight and leveled the PPT algorithm will vary the guns angle automatically while you approaches the target until the maximum slope towards the ground is reached and the PPTM will be automatically switched off.   18. yes they seem to be very inaccurate. and they're not designed to be dropped down very low, infact: -the bomb decelerates with the parachute to place vertically on longitudinal axis (thus the warhead is pointing towards the ground) -the 'chute will break away and the rear rocket will come on to push the bomb down with the maximum impact force.

  20. No. Waiting for the F-15E and AV-8B. In my personal opinion DCS should be crowded with complex, valuable and remarkable aircrafts models. Otherwise i'll buy prepar3d / fsx to fly perfectly reproduced ordinary jets and vrs tacpack to fire some fox with a sketchy flight model. DCS is something more then a fsim, it's a COMBAT sim, directly descending from the military graded battle simulator by FC. Thus i think modules like this are not really exploiting the DCS potential. Just my humble opinion. C.
