Getting my friend's old computer since his job is buying him a new one. Going from an AMD Phenom II X4 965 3.4GHz and 8GB RAM to an Intel Core i7-6700K 4.0 GHz and 16GB RAM. Throw my current EVGA 970 oc'd and I'll finally be AMD-free. :)
Would be great. For more detail:
The exhaust nozzle is driven by 13th stage bleed air. The "whine" is produced by the air leaving the Convergent Exhaust Nozzle Control (CENC) exhaust tube. The system is very light weight and actuates the nozzle using flex-shafts. The CENC spins the shafts like an air wrench to open or close the nozzle. On a snap acceleration or deceleration, the CENC “Whines” as the nozzle moves.
You know how the saying goes...
99 little bugs in the code, 99 littles bugs. Take one down, patch it around, 117 little bugs in the code."
:P
In all seriousness, hope the next hotfix smooths things out again.
You say that like you can just punch in some numbers in a magical program and it spits out an EFM. There is an enormous amount of work that has to go into it. Releasing first with an SFM then upgrading to an EFM when it's ready isn't a bad move. If you want to wait, wait. But don't say they aren't capable of reaching the bar set by ED because the EFM won't be ready at the beta (keyword, beta) release at the end of the year.
Don't mix up what's good for you and for the rest of the userbase. There is still a very large portion of the DCS crowd that like and fly SFM aircraft, and there's nothing wrong with that.
Somewhere in the neighborhood of 80 aircraft. 27 MiG-21 fighters, as well as Douglas A-4K Skyhawk attack jets and Aero L-39 Albatros and Aermacchi MB-339 tactical jet trainer aircraft. They just got their first L-159 ALCA too.

Largest private air force in the world, and I live about 20 minutes away from it. Pretty great group of people and aircraft there. They also got licensed to do L-39NG (next gen) conversions there too.

With the new unified exe, this feature could return down the line. They just recently got satellite view in the mission editor.

Yeah, that system worked because in IL-2 skins were only a single 1mb .bmp file. Try doing that in DCS with models that have several 2048+ pixel diffuse layers, spec maps, etc. Too much to transfer. ;)
