The reason Nevada took so long was because not only did the map have to be created, but the tools and technology for building and integrating it into EDGE as well. Now that this has been accomplished, hopefully the map-making process should be "somewhat" quicker, now that the tools and framework have been laid out.

For running that aircraft, assuming it's in the default Black Sea map in EDGE. The specs under the NTTR description are the requirements for the map itself, not including the aircraft you're in...I'm assuming.

1. The speed is much faster now. If it's ever too slow (I suspect once the masses all try downloading NTTR at once on release date), you can always direct download from the product page. 2. Yes. You can transfer a license from Steam to DCS World standalone, but not the other way around. See the Steam FAQ.

Considering that the first iteration of the map from the A-10C beta days was thrown out and they started again from scratch, and that the map was not only being built but was used to help develop the tools, technology and framework for future EDGE maps to come, and the fact that a large chunk of the user base is going to get the map for free because they pre-ordered the Warthog beta, the price is well justified. They have to make money off it somehow...

You could just place modified texture in an unzipped folder named A_10C_C_EDM. Also, the colors are just for personal reference? In the real A-10C they are white.

It shouldn't show up in the module manager until 1.5 hits open beta.

My Cougar MFDs would connect and disconnect constantly for like the first 15 minutes after boot until they stabilized. Turned off power save features and everything, nothing worked. Just got fed up and unplugged them. I rarely use them anymore anyway. Otherwise all other hardware is working 100%.

I think 3DS Max and 3DS Max Design are different. Plug-ins probably only support the non-design version.
