  7. What about them? I guess for naval objects bano could be used as well. For land objects, that depends if you want the light to "flood" the surrounding area with light as well, or just be a visual light.

  9. That's not the issue. EDGE by itself is functional yes and you can view the maps you are working on with the land viewer, but the integration of the EDGE code into DCS so that the maps work there, that's the next step. And as was already stated, that part is still in alpha stages.

  11. Go to your "Saved Games/DCS/Config" folder and delete the network.cfg and network.vault files, relaunch MP and redo your MP settings, and it should work. This happened to me tonight after I got new internet after moving apartments.
  12. Don't use fake_omni_lights, use bano as the material for aircraft lights.
  13. Should work just fine with TrackIR, it's exactly the same as the Track Clip (3 IR LEDs). I'm considering one of these as well for my TrackIR, the Track Clip breaks WAY too easily, and this steel construction looks much nicer.

  16. Nothing is absolutely free. Even for us as third party developers we have to buy Max, Photoshop, Visual Studio, etc. You really have to be dedicated. Sent from my Note II using Tapatalk 2.
  17. The point of releasing the SDK is so that maps can be made faster by the community than RRG can make themselves, without giving all the tools to make it functional. This will let them put more attention to the aircraft. Enough will be provided to make the land, but the final conversion process of it to let it plug into DCS/DCS WWII will be done by ED or RRG. This would act as quality control, which is in my opinion a good thing.

  21. It was disabled because it just was useless and unrealistic. I think you can re-enable it by going into the aircraft's keyboard.lua in the input folder and un-commenting out the command.
