Nice, I'll be sure to stop by AVIA's booth at I/ITSEC in a few weeks. :) EDIT: Some things I noticed in those videos is the new lens flare, and some of the really shiny buildings in the terrain looked like they were actually reflecting what was around them, not an env map like we have now. Ooooooooh. :)

  4. While not getting ahead of myself, these screens are also from the Terrain Viewer, not in-game. So it may not look the same. Same way models don't look quite the same in-game as they do in modelviewer.
  5. Float allows a texture to fade in and out. Like the cockpit lights in the new F-15C cockpit. There isn't really any documentation on how to use it. If I have time I can put together a quick how-to.

  8. For fading light textures you use Arg based float. Check the sample max file about self illumination that installs with the edm plugins. Should be in the Max directory, help, edm. I think. The textures it uses use float, check it out in the slate material editor.
  9. The biggest change for me was going from my hat clip back to the Track Clip, the smoothness difference was night and day. But I guess results will be different for everyone depending on their TiR settings.

    RAZ F-15E AFM

    Because the T-2 is their testbed aircraft. As a new developer to DCS wouldn't you think they'd want to get a first project out to cut their teeth on before moving to the F-15E? I would...developing for DCS isn't like FSX.
  16. Sorry for the 15-month bump, but I finally got around to doing this mod to my own TrackClip and G930. It makes a world of difference, and the integration is so much nicer looking than a battery pack hanging off the headset! :thumbup:
  17. Yeah I was thinking about using nice, strong magnets. That or I may just end up integrating the power of the DelanClip into my Logitech headset and mounting it permanently with the zip-ties.
  18. Is the option to disable windows aero enabled in your options? I know for me when that is enabled, I get that problem.
  19. Yeah, I'm about to buy the DelanClip myself. Metal, simple construction, plug and play. Only thing is once you mount it with those zip-ties it's a permanent part of your headset. I may mess with ways to attach-detach it.
