Thanks guys for 'bumping' this thread on and on ... but please , try to stay just a 'little' more on topic ;) ....the topic is somewhere between: "Have great difficulties to fly it like I want it" and "This helped me to persuade the Huey to do what I want" @ outlaw Please post a 100% simple to follow instruction how to 'fix' the Huey. (a instruction that is written in a such a way that my 91 years grandma is able to follow it) When you have done it - I will put a linked Notice in the first Post - so the people can try this too before they have to do more practice. ..and please don't 'step' on my nerves further like this - don't misinterpret me - the contend of you posts is somewhat correct and I fully understand your intention - it's your 'tone' that annoys me. No it is not - it gives you the absolute save decent rate - If you leave this area you will have to check back the conditions, if they allow it and if you are save. - a coin gamble is something very different .

--just watch the track from the F2 view - and you will see how 'boring' and imperfect my flying is.... ...well, but it does at least what I want whenever I want it. :)

Outlaw, I posted this Vid manly for people that are tempt to post that the Huey is not controllable- Now and in the Future. - I just wanted to show them what you can do with it - and my demo is far from being 'perfect'. - it just shows only elementary skills you should be able to handle if you say from yourself that you are able to control it. And whatever this direct download changes - there are many, many people that will still not be able to control it - be it a lack of practice , understanding or skills or the wrong controls. - I hope you get my point. No problem - just tried to help and show you a way how to recreate the state we are talking about. If this doesn't work like I suggested - sorry. So then jut try to find someone that used only used incremental updates . and let him replay my track - if the track ends without a crash and or in the right parking slot (like in the vid) - you have a proof if something is different in the FM of the Huey . This takes just 8 min (the duration of the Track). - and after it we can go back to 'normal duty'. :)

Do whatever you want - and as I read - you are 'happy' and have a 'fixed' install. Right?! - so why this fuzz?.... leave things like they are and see what the next version will bring you. - people are free to take you advise and re-install the module (like I did) - and see if there is a change. Easy isn't it ?!. - But please stop to turn these thing into something personal - this is a good and friendly meant advise . - as I watched things like this happening very often on these boards the last years. And the outcome is very rarely something that people can be proud of. :)

You are posting now in three different threads the same thing ( ...and I'm not far from this too...) - this just makes no sense until you have something to show if you rally need this 'proof'. I won't do these tests - I will waste my time with other unnecessary things. And - like I said before - I had no big issues before - and even at the first initial release of the Huey.

...you can also delete the core files of your Huey install >> ..Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Mods\aircrafts\Uh-1H\... And than run a DCS repair afterwards - than you should have the files that are provided by the auto-updater and not from the module-download.

before it gets ugly here... ;) Avery simple test: Record a track where you make 'excessive' manoeuvring at the edge of ELT/VSR . Than de-install the Huey module and use the download instead of the updater. If the track plays the same - nothing about the flight-model has changed. Sorry - I can't do it - as I have no tracks from 'before'. Edit: The same should work vice versa - here is a track that has been recorded with the downloaded Huey module. Outlaw, we know it now, thanks. Just please watch your tone, as your replies reads that you 'jump' on others. ;) BTW: I was able to fly like this also before the "update" - I just checked things yesterday night with a closer look and a side-effect was this track/video - what you see in this Vid was already possible before - Now I just have the 'feeling' that the VRS is a little reduced - nothing more - nothing less.

BTW : Whatever is wrong : Please watch this before you say that the current beta is un-flyable/broken /or whatever... A show case of the "unpredictable and uncontrollable " DCS Huey

;) ... just saying... ...because you can read sometimes very absurd things when people claim to found a 'Bug' about the FM - and when you than finally convinced him to upload a track with the 'issue' happening - you quickly understand where the problem is really buried... :)

It's not about what one thinks. It's about what one knows: a 500ft/m descent rate is more than enough in many circumstances to get a UH-1H into a VSR. ...and it can happen at much more less decent rate when winds a blowing from your back.
