  1. Achtung! There are various changes in the new 1.2.5 version regarding the views. - and ED is heading in the right direction. We have now a new setting in the server.lua: And the camera angle restriction is recalculated when the FOV(Zoom) is changed. (Great!) We now have (finally) a check-box for enabling the custom snap-views saving inside the options of DCS :). Well, the Eyepoint position is still untouched and you are turning your virtual Eye around itself more or less in all cockpits. Overall this are very good news , but I highly recommend to NOT install my mod on 1.2.5 until I found time to make my own tests and make it fully compatible with 1.2.5. - If you cant wait: make a easy to revert backup by any means and you should have knowledge what you are doing because you are entering Terra incognita. So long! - you will hear from my soon.

  3. To be honest: I don't care - ... as long it isn't a mechwarrior or something. ...on another thought... This would be really cool !
  4. Please overfly this thread and note the solution that worked for Timmay : http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=1387704#post1387704 Seems that some Nvidea drivers aren't compatible with Softth. (I'm on ATI)
  5. Sorry - left was a Typo - I meant the right. ... Please elaborate a little more - why the 'But' and in which res you want to run your secondary screen ? , as your SoftTh file also is set to 3840x1020 (as posted in #8 ) spilled in half equally on both screens and as determined by your 'monitorsetup.lua'.
  6. BTW: Which files/mod/tool did you used to to enable the viewport rendering at the left monitor for the cockpit instruments ? Does it work when you use a 3840x1020 windowed DCS setting ? (this should work without SofTH ) And make sure you use a aero-theme at windows level and have set "keepComposition=1" in Softth - if you don't , you wont be able to see Helios on a secondary screen while DCS is full-screen mode AFAIK.
  7. Well,I switched to a english dektop... so I can't tell you without a restart how it is called in German. - anyway - 'Desktop magnification' is just a term of my own that describes what is happening behind 'the curtain' - with the new WDM driver architecture you don't scale DPI any-more - you are zooming your desktop - and Windows prevents to spawn windows at this 'unused' space - and scales the contend that contains DX and video down to your native res again. - This works not well with SoftTH because the mouse gets messed up and/or softth acts 'funny' or doesn't initialises at all. And its actually called "Make it easier to read what's on your screen" ... (<< yes no joke! ;) ...formally know as DPI scaling) :) - anyway - we ruled this out and you got my point. So lets see what happens after you made the other changes and/or provide more info.
  8. Your path is correct. More info is needed to solve your issues . Post a screen shot and your exact in-game settings, your used GPU and drivers. Also please recheck this: and than: Please make it equal = use the same res as your in-game resolution. use also "antialiasing=2" when above doesn't makes a change. Further: Did you use the windows-desktop screen magnification ? (Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Display) - if yes : set it to 100% - so you have your desktop in native resolution and windows doesn't hands out false x/y coordinates to SoftTh. - this will solve the 'mouse doesn't fits' problem.
  9. There are sure triggers missing up to now that prevent that the physical calculations are going total chaotic and produces absulute impossible values... whatever - AFAIK - The weight of the load is right now controlled in line #30 "CargoMass" of the FMOptions.lua - it's set right now to 500.0 (Kg ?!) - happy experimenting!
  10. you need to attach more info - your crash file isn't enough to get a rough idea about the cause. >>> TROUBLESHOOTING - Help us helping you.
  11. Start in the Air. - not at the ground.
  12. EDIT- 1.2.5 Update: Enabling the Sling Load in 1.2.5: >>> ...DCS WorldModsaircraftsUh-1HFMFMOptions.lua Start at Line#39 DrawRope=1; DrawCargo=1; CargoModelling=true; CargoGround=true; ExtCargoMass=500.0 -- kg (?!) Start at Kobuleti and find a ready to hook cargo at runway 07 . Enable the Cargo Cam = LCtrl + LShift + C Un-hook the Cargo = RCtrl + RShift + L Stablish a stable hover for 5 sec. to automatically hook it. ...or simply use this mission/mod >>> http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=110810 Have fun! ... and keep in mind that the behaviour of the cargo is in alpha state and that there is a reason why the DEVs didn't included it up to now in the beta. Here are the default 1.2.5 lines: DrawRope=0.0; DrawCargo=0.0; CargoModelling=false; CargoGround=false; ExtCargoMass=500.0
  13. You have to set up the same axis setting for each module. Don't expect that the Ka-.50 behaves the same just because you set it up once for the Huey. >>>>Sticky: corrupt calibration? crazy joystick response? Use this tools Fix it:
  14. With the phantommonitorfix - you have to put the left screen back in the display properties like you had it from the beginning. (Post one) =left monitor to the left About the age : This script measures all space on your desktop and pulls the window to the left most possible position - even when it's a negative value. And it does it only with tht DCS.exe process. And ther was no change in the naming since the last 4 years - so it works fine , as long you run windowed and go back to a setting like in post #1.
  15. Using the "PhantomMonitorFix" would be the best solution in your case. You would be able to keep the right monitor as Mainscreen while the DCS simulation is Rendered across both screens. Tip - place the exe or a shortcut of this skript it in your startup folder , C:\Users\>User Name<\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup to lower your workload . So it is loaded when your system boots and you don't have to manually start it any more.
  16. I use a very similar set-up and my touch-screen works like this: Every touch that is shorter as 0.3 second or is moving will be recognized as a Left-clik. But when I hold a single point (within 64square pixels) longer as 0.3 sec - it will executed as as a Right-click. When you follow the above rules you will be able to 'drag' dials and be able to do a right click whenever you want.
  17. ?! - just set it up in the CCC and than you will have a changed horizontal res that you have to use. I can't tell you how much it is - you have to see it yourself what's fitting for your setup. Btw: The exact aspect ratio you have to use is 5,3333 - above I made a just a guess on the fly - will edit now the post .
  18. Stupid Me - I should have thought of it. - thanks for the prompt answer. I deeply apologize!
  19. (edit: please note the edit at the end of the post!) Sorry - can I get a better explanation as the given one? I made some texture works myself - you must be damn good to recreate a texture of someone else without to copy it directly... just saying. edit: please, don't get me wrong - I have no problem if you use some templates from others during the wip -but saying that it has nothing to do with it is a different thing. >>>https://www.facebook.com/DCSF35 FSX: kinney-interactive: EDIT: Here is a possible answer
  20. 1 gigabyte ram is not enough for such a high res - you need at last 2 to get over 30FP with your card. Reduce the MSAA to 2x and switch off TSSAA - if you haven't done it up to now. Or don't run on native res - switch to something like 3x 1280x1024 and change your aspect ratio to 5,3333 instead 3.75 to fix the distortion. ...Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Config\MonitorSetup\... When you are looking for a new card to run a multi-monitor setup : Make sure it has at least 2 gig ram on board - anything under it isn't really usable for more than 1 monitor when you want to have steady 30+ fps in native res with all bells and whistles.
  21. >>>> Total mystery with this mission file
  22. get gimp and the needed plugins - and all is fine.
  23. This is fun! :megalol:
  24. .. well, don't forget that rounding numbers is a man-made thing. Numbers aren't interested in 'opinions' ... whatever you do to make them fit. Numbers are only right or wrong...like Cheech and Chong :D (in most cases) :smartass: :smartass: EDIT:
  25. OK - I now watched them both - please don't mind if I rephrase your question. ;) Subject #1 says 2+2 = 4.5 while Subject #2 says 2+2 = 3.5 Who is closer to the truth ?!
