  2. -- try to not go below 55 pixels per inch at 4 ft distance- or 64pixels per 1° of real filed of view in front of you. Means << the link will tell you also about other things you want to have a eye on. - otherwise it can get too fuzzy to read certain elements like the engine gauges and various MFCD/HUD elements in the virtual cockpit. and as nice the immersion will be - you will end up with tired eyes and it gets inconvenient to use because you find yourself always zooming in in a normal combat mission. @Thick8 -sorry . I'm not trying to 'take over' this thread .. - just trying to pass info.
  3. ....abgesehen davon dass Lino einen mehr als fragwürdigen Hoster für seine Files benutzt , arbeiten beide links und Ich kann sie downloaden. welcher link funktioniert nicht für dich ? / was hast du geklickt ? ... und wenn Lino schreibt: " den kleinen Downloadbutton klicken!" - meint er wirklich den kleinsten den du finden kannst >>>
  4. That's the spirit! Great!
  5. 'monitors' or 'TV' - it doesn't mater. - its all about overall in-game resolution, and how the output giving devises are connected to the device that creates the render (direct on GPU/ via second GPU / or virtual GPU via USB, ...) and/or full-screen , windowed and so on.... every 'tiny' bit is very important - ...which settings are used in-game. TSSAA can kill every frame-rate when using with a MSAA setting over 4... high scene or low and so on... -short: always look at the 'big' picture - each small thing is important. ....get a overview how every little detail is important here: Seeking best connection method for optimal multi-monitor-performance -please have a read - even if it is right now a little 'outdated' - and the system specs have changed. :) ...another very prominent example what people do wrong at their very early steps to use a multi monitor setup:

  7. @ lefuneste01 Have a look : http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=1808253#post1808253 Maybe you fit.
  8. Hi all ! Short: I need Help! because I'm too dump to learn a 'new' Syntax and/or use it efficient and I'm too Limited at time.... Long: All my mods and knowledge about lua scripting relied up to now to read a given code and just to rearrange it and/or look up in various tutorials how to do it and make it usable for me. But now I'm reaching a point where this isn't sufficient any-more and it gets too time consuming for me to reach a certain goal in a reasonable time frame - as studding gets more and more important before I get to the next necessary step. So I'm at a stage where I can say that this mod will maybe be ready in a min of 6month when I go on like this and only have some hours at the weekend to concentrate on newly learned and bring it into a form I can use it for this mod.. (I hope you get my point) I have nailed almost everything down what it need to run this mod by "lua only" and almost automatically triggered by the dcs-lua engine alone. (many functions are already worked out by myself - but I ran in too much problems when combining them . and it isn't healthy to my family life any-more when using up 80% of my 'coding-time' for debugging alone) So I'm looking for someone that is more experience in lua and 'io.' functions and how to make array searches in strings and how to extract and format data.. ...to help me (us) out. So I'm asking if someone want to step into our team - probably with some lua knowledge or equivalent (pascal) and has no fear to learn something new. We share a common drop-box by Icemaker and also use Skype desktop sharing option to show us our code how we write and arrange it while talking to each other (English). I have a full 'road-map' that covers every step that we have to work out to make this mod become alive - without to worry that it gets absulute unusable with a new 'update' of DCS. - it can be even established as a new 'module'. ... but this is another story... Please start reading at post #51 to get a overview at which stage we are. The project goal is to fully extract all given data into a readable way to populate FlightCharts that have everyting inside from Radio comes of your wing/coalition up to a full list of your allies - all info separated into Blue/red to prevent cheating. ...once this works (...) - we hope to hand out the (good documented) code to ED and they will integrate it. Please contact me via mail and give the obvious info about your capabilities - I will than contact you via mail/skype and give you a overview on which stage we are and what's the tasks in detail: (btw: this is a strictly non-profit project) E-mail: :)
  9. Nice ! You are welcome! - always a pleasure to help. (well, I have bought cable strippers long ago ... and when looking at your 'gaming corner' - I think I finally should start to use them to clan up this spaghetti salad that is visible under my monitors. - thanks for this "reminder")
  10. OK OK you are right ! - I'm free to change my mind any time ! -something you seem not to be able to. (BTW: I cant see something wrong in it - I just deleted it because it is absolute Off-topic and the tail wheel of the P-51D has no place in this thread ... >>> http://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=84536&d=1373089428) and still: The P-51D has NO no steerable tail wheel -its wheel is 'free turning'- at will - but not 'steerable' - point. But: - so what about answering my Question ?! (after answering yours without insulting you; and isn't it 'funny ' that you can read it in your screenshoot?!) - please go back to post#22 and read . EDIT(17 min later): Seems you are speechless - so I'm. At least I have to thank you to show 'us' a piece of your mind - just start reading again at post#1 to get my thought. Than you will maybe see when 'it' has gone off track. good fight - good night!
  11. First: you are still wrong Second : you are still not on topic. Third : What about my question?! - where are are you going ? mind the gap! reminder:
  12. Thanks for explaining the world... and now explain the counter-steering you brought in- thanks in advanced! :) a reminder why I ask and still demand an answer.:
  13. Yes, I total understand it- I'm too confused right now. Right - but this got cleared at post #2 Wait - we never been at this point... I brought up the bicycle handle after I realised that Dudester22 is using the rudders in a wrong way - and I tried to clarify it with post #10. and Dudester22 confirmed it on #11. .. happy thread ending ?! - NO - read on.... This is something that OzStriker has to explain how it has something to do with controlling a air-plane and fits along with this topic -I don't know . But what I want to know is this: I'm also very interested to get some facts on this thesis... after he turned it in a 'somewhat personal' thing and made a affront: I'm still very curious on a explanation - I wish OzStriker will this time stay on the facts. '
  14. ;) - trying to win a argument with the universe, or what others call god ?! - well, good luck on this! - let my know when you know 'how'. reminder: never ever try to argument with the universe - you can scream as laud you like - the universe will not care.
  15. ...don't worry - before you find time to turn your head twice without having the feeling that someone holds it - you will find yourself in a 'majority' - as: getting younger is very unlikely.
  16. no, I don't - because you listen. -thanks! btw: I have the feeling we know each other - help me . - did we meet at this forum before June 2013?!
  17. OH well , you are so right! (+1 for that) I'm so Sorry that I used the picture of a bicycle handle to tell Dudester22 that he has to use the rudders in a opposite way. ...But listen, -we are talking here about rudders in a air-plane - and how we have to turn them - and not how to do it on bicycles that don't have to rely on the airflow to move in a certain direction... or whatever... Think about apples and oranges - they make a good fruit salad together - but not always a good argument. ..now please don't waste your time just to waste mine :). BTW: did you know ? - at a certain Mach number you have to use the rudders in opposite way to get a wished result. ..no?! - I bet wikipedia can tell you also more about it. ...or please try again to explain how I can adapt the countersteering , you are talking about , on a plane - and than I'm fully yours...
  18. You're welcome! Always a pleasure to help. Actually they are. In both cases to turn left you push on the left side, on a bike it is called counter-steering. Try it next time you ride a bike, you will realise its what you've always done I hope you have much room to the sides, and you don't care to reach a given destination when you control a bicycle handle this way....;)
  19. ... sorry, I didn't found a really self-explanatory pic - so I had to edit/draw it myself:
  20. The rudders are not like your bicycle handle. Think like this : you put your weight to the left when pushing the left rudder - so the plane goes left. wait... searching better explanation...
  21. Yes, the A-10c has differential brakes. Left toe-brake is for left wheel and right toe-brake is for right. here are some set-up tips: If you have problems with a controller - head over here : >>> ED Forums » English » Sim Topics » Input and Output » corrupt calibration? crazy joystick response? Use this tools Fix it:
  22. .. well, the neck position works fine in my mod with the Huey - but you are still not allowed to change it when you want to have the other cockpit positions intact - just the same as with the default Huey view. You can only change the zoom/FOV and the angel - but don't change the position, as this also change also the view of the co-pilot and gunners.
  23. Here is a idea for the devs and mission makers: Try to recreate the tension and storyline of the UN campaign but add another feature in it. It goes like this: The mission is not always depending on the combat success - some missions let you choose to head in a total another direction to have a tree structure that let you even go back on another missions - so you have a lit of tasks that you choose yourself in which order to solve them. ... like: You get a triggered question to head back to your frap or you are a daredevil and decide to head to another place/direction - if you choose the later you reach a trigger-zone and the mission ends . Than the next mission will be absulute different depending on your decision which way you have choose. I hope you get the idea and how it would make the re-playability even more interesting. To be honest: I didn't played around much with the Mission editor for some time - so I really don't know if it is practical.
  24. ...post a bug-report like I did : DCS 1.2.4 doesn't carry over the Default Snap-views values when Customising
  25. This won't help! - having no teeth won't stop them to use the keyboard . :D
