Is there any way to successfully conduct an auto delivery pre GPS? I’m trying some Cold War Germany stuff doing low level pops and snakeye delivery but auto seems unusable. Everytime I designate from the hid the auto delivery line is way off, and that’s even if I do an air start or ins update right before. Am I missing a step somewhere?

I see that there are new callsigns, that have been in the game for some time, but there are no sound files associated with them. Viper, Snake, when the radio has those callsigns it just skips them and leaves them blank you don't hear anything. Is there a mod that adds it? I don't understand why you couldn't add the callsigns.

I’d like to second this. I created a new mission file with the intention to pattern the HOF altitudes against soft trucks spaced 50ft apart. Delivering the CBU-99 with the FMU fuze set at various HOF altitudes I was having trouble getting the bomblets into a 200’x200’ grid of 25 trucks. I tried both CCIP deliveries and auto, level and dives up to 30 degrees, and even did the old ains/gps trick with no change. The 1500’ HOF seemed to be the most accurate, with the extreme 3000’ HOF never coming close. It seems the ballistic calculation for the bomb fall or something is off. Mission was an air start 10nm run in with zero wind. Afghanistan map.

I turned everything off in my Viper pit and haven't had any issues. I have the Apache dialed in, as well as the F-4 settings. Now I'm working on an OH-58 profile.
-
After much frustration and troubleshooting I found the issue. I have two complete simpits. One is Hornet/center sticks. The other is a Viper simpit. Total there are 40 usb devices for the various panels and input devices. After unplugging everything but the AB9, it works. Now I’m in the process of finding out which device was interfering and hoping it’s on the Viper side. Or that there is a maximum of devices I can have on at a time and that maximum will let me run the Hornet pit if I turn the viper devices off.
-
The issue is that for helicopters for instance, if you push the cyclic forward, even on the ground the rotor should want to return to neutral, which is why there is the force trim option. To keep from having to push the cyclic forward and push against it's natural return you can trim it, and in the real Apache, or with FFB, this stick should stay where you trimmed it. Because I can't get FFB info from DCS the stick doesn't have any push against me, and the telemetry will only shake it not simulate it's need to center.
-
That’s my main issue. In telemetry or integrated mode I get the effects from the profile, if I go and turn them off I get nothing. In direct, which should get the FFB info from DCS module I get nothing. I can fly the P51 pull back slightly and let go and the stick will stay right where I left it. No force or trim it’s like a fly by wire.
-
F4, F14, Apache, P51 I also ran a full repair. Reinstalled the MOZA cockpit software.
-
I do have FFB enabled in the general settings, and I am flying a module. I have tried Several. The MOZA software shows telemetry connected.
-
The stick does self test and calibrate, and when I alt tab out to check the moza software I see telemetry service connected and it is configured. I posted on the discord. No luck so far.
-
I did. I have --<<MOZA FFB algorighm 1.0.0 dofile(lfs.writedir() .. [[Scripts\MOZA\MOZA.lua]]) --MOZA FFB algorighm in the export lua and the moza folder as well with the scripts inside

I just got a AB9, and I can't get DCS to give any centering force at all. When I run the game, in direct mode there is nothing. In telemetry mode I get the effects I have set, as well as integrated mode. But no mater what if I let go of the stick in any module, Helicopter, Jet, Prop, it will just keep the stick where I left it. Triming doesn't seem to do anything. I have Force Feedback Checked on in the settings-misc tab. It's like DCS is giving no information to the FFB but the software can see if I am stalling or my speed so the lua has to be exporting. So frustrating I can't find any information online. I am desperate for help

Has anyone been able to get the sidewinders to uncage? I am following the directions from the manual: Once the missile's tone changes to signify lock, the pilot can then hold down the ARR button on the grip to allow for Sidewinder self-track (seeker uncage) but I can’t get it to work, I lose tone and the missles go stupid.

I recently upgraded my old Rift S to a Quest Pro. Does anyone have any settings or tweeks for the pro. The visual quality is much better but performance wise I've definitely taken a hit. I have been using Oculus Tray Tool and fiddling with some of the settings, without a whole lot of luck. Wondering if anyone has had more luck that me. Currently running a 5800x3d and 3080ti, DCS and windows on SSD, 64gb of ram.

For some reason the UK faction shows only the Handy Wind for me, none of the new assets are available. I can see the assets in the encyclopedia, just can't place them with UK, or with Coalition Joint Task Force. I am running the latest open beta, I have done a full repair, and I have tried multiple time periods, all without success. I'ts like the asset file for the faction didn't update for me, any help?

reported Any sensor slewing the TGT point drags waypoint with it
Ginsu80 replied to VFA41_Lion's topic in Bugs and Problems
Bump this topic. Frustrating to have your flightplan waypoints dragged around the map while targeting with the pod. Fingers crossed for a hotfix. -
I did a little more testing, the bug only seems to be there when you have the JSOWs loaded with the Harms. With the JSOW powered on and the HARMS loaded switching to guns leave the pipper well below the Line of sight. Boxing and unboxing HARMS with one HARM still on a station can fix the bug. If you don't have any HARMS left boxing and unboxing won't clear the issue. I ran the same mission with CBU-99s loaded and couldn't get the same behavior. Hope the track helps. It was the simplest track I could get. pipper problem.trk
-
After using HARMS in TOO mode on the Nevada map the GUN pipper will not take into account the correct ground elevation and the rounds will land high. If you have a HARM left on the rail you can fix it by selecting then deselecting the HARM pushbutton on the STORES page. If you have no HARMS left you can't clear the error. I will try and get a track file but I have been able to reproduce the bug several times.

DCS BIOS is dead, any alternatives?
Ginsu80 replied to v81's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I am having the same issue, using .10 version of DCS-BIOS hub. After 5 or 10 min DCS Bios devices stop working, and the hub shows no ports connected. I have to restart DCS-BIOS and the game to get it to connect. I think I may have exceeded the limit for number of DCS-Bios devices. I have 10 connected for my simpit. I am trying to find a work around and am totally frustrated. -
correct as is AGM-65F FOV button sometimes not working
Ginsu80 replied to Topper81's topic in Bugs and Problems
I also had this issue with the newest update. On my first run I was able to zoom in, on my second and subsequent runs the FOV button did not change the FOV. -
I am wondering if anyone is still working on the Jug? I have been reading up on WW2 P-47 tactics, notably Zemke’s Wolfpack, and they note that the Jug had excellent dive performance and a good roll rate as strengths. This doesn’t seem to match in DCS as the roll rate seems sluggish compared to all other fighters and dive performance is so so. I don’t see many changes in the patch notes, are any changes coming to the P-47?
