I need access to Saitek program (and Trackir if I forgot to activate) while DCS is running. I removed the the tick off box full screen - but did not help. Tried at least to access Win info bar with ctrl -alt -del. Did not help either.. Suggestions??

First .. Yes it works perfectly - Updated drivers OK. I am not able to find the old fashion test program that shows you button pressed and calibration. - Only message I find " Unit works OK" Tried to figure out the programming system with modes and profiles, and I do not even know the purpose of it. (Guess for gamers with a ton of different games) When I purchased x52 I wanted to use button xx in A to A - and then switch x52 to a different mode and use the same button for something else in A-G. Is there a way to disable mouse controller toggle switch and use it as an ordinary POV? For now it is just an ordinary stick with an expensive stop watch display...

Found it - an uninstall button in Manager fixed it,,,,

Installed and tested F-16 in the free Easter period. Purchased it today. It does not show up in Manager - install. . But it is listed in the activate/deactivate menu. It does not show up in icon row at bottom of screen. Checked my DCS files - it is still there from Easter.. - And finally checked my DCS account - OK, What to do? Thanks...

Ordered a new 1TB SSD today . Need to install World beta for F-16 and Persia map purchases.. My current install consists of several modules. Is it Okay to deactivate modules in manager and then uninstall complete DCS? There is no space left on C download. Any walkaround? - Download directly to new SSD? Thanks

Thanks - I give it a try. Those flight sim addons really eat HD space. My HD (C and ) is at 1 terrabyte. In addition a SSD for Prepar V4.5 Guess there is a connection for another HD.

Not able to download/upgrade to new world. C: 52 GB free D: 58 GB free. DCS is installed in D:. Not sure if it helps to temporary move some files from C to D while downloading. Guess I will not be able to move back C when installing. Is it worth uninstall DCS - or will I lose it completely due to lack of disk space? :joystick:

Figuring out Russian bombers from Encyclopedia is time consuming. It hard to find a good match. I need help to find AI Russian bombers and matching load outs for: 1. High level carpet bombing (typical runways) 2. Fighter/bomber (similar to example F-16 and A-10) attack on active units (not necessary moving) on ground. 3 . The same as above - attack static structures. My scenario works almost as intended. Coming in late into the heat of the battle with my F-14. But the AI ground attacks are not very convincing... Yes - I know it is beta. A quick install, and if not happy I could leave it. Not a big deal. Supercarrier is a different time consuming beast. You have to install a completely new sim, along with new setup. I rather spend time in flying. I was quite happy with F-16, but dropped it for Supercarrier. Looks like a great module for my favorite Tomcat. :pilotfly:

Thanks.. Been around since Sublogic sim on CBM64. Done my share of beta testing. Now I want plug and play. Even on other simulators there are unexpected crash and bugs with addons on release. (And I do not blame publishers) That is why I wait a couple of months to purchase. And I did expect some bugs in Supercarrier too, if too annoying, I could just deactivate it and continue flying until fixed. Now it is too time consuming, activating aircraft again, setting up graphics, move over key binding , and the usual troubleshooting that goes along with it. Finally not sure if HD space permits. Other sim addons do fill up my HD too. Anyway ... some day DCS will run an update, and Supercarrier can be activated.. :pilotfly:

Checking module manager and buy info... No joy. Just noticed that one of purchase pages info you need open beta? What? Where it is? Checking World 2.5 - no link to open beta... Doubt I got enough space for another world to be installed. And I am scared stiff to f.. up DCS - now it is running flawless for a month, and it feels stable.. Final question: When will it available for my installed world 2.5? :joystick:

Single player - no server. From cold start, it crash into terrain 5 minutes after takeoff. I noticed it is slightly off during taxi. The Jester circle stays on too. (Using trackir, turned off during replay). I found the third party planes often crash in replay.. I will try figure out how to start a movie om approach and landing. Guess the errors does not generate a major off path during a short playing time. :pilotfly:

Tomcat is my favorite aircraft. Too bad the replay does not work. With the supercarrier I really want to see replay of the action. Is it a way to make short movie of takeoff/landing? Or do you have to purchase Hornet.? :pilotfly:

Yes - that is why asked, maybe X96 is an exception. And hoped that airport freq. menu list can add info . The same exception goes with VOR (Similar to TACAN). That is why you have SME hold function in civilian aircraft. You keep DME on previous VOR, while changing frequency to new VOR/ILS for navigation. :)

I was in editor.- Wanted to check if X96 is paired with DME, or if I missed a switch setting or similar (I did). A bit awkward to go out of editor to get the frequency list menu I missed the rocker switchWill try it... :)

Tacan DME is disabled. Chucks excellent manual mention T/R setting, but I am not able to figure it out. I am not able to find airport frequency list in F10. Just supply data. Maybe my test TACAN does not transmit distance? x96 persian map. Thanks!!!!! :) :joystick:

The normal alt enter does not work. It works OK in other sims - P3D. A bit awkward when you want fix something like Trackir, and you have quit sim. Also noticed in videos that you may call up other stuff like control setup menu and still be in fullscreen. Thanks!!!! :pilotfly:

Been around since the first Black Shark 32 bits and later A-10. Then it ended with love/hate relation, just like drugs. Hooked on early release and bundle sales pusher. Flying in heaven, then stutter and CTD. Fighting for a week to fix it it. Put it away for a year, and back for more. :joystick: Now it seems stable, and flying my favorite F-14 Tomcat. Jester doing a great job. Thanks for giving modules a free try. Testing F-16 at the moment. Love this aircraft, but miss help from Jester . I will certainly purchase it. The DCS Airshow 2020 really gives me even more love for DCS. Lifted it up from the best kill something simulator to probably the best flight sim ever Watch it on TV with bass maxed out for the Flanker full AB experience. :pilotfly: :cheer3nc::worthy:

Found out. that waypoints can be used as steerpoints. But tips and comments are welcome..

Want to exercise some nav training. In mission editor the Nav Target Points selection does not show up. Copied a similar F-14B mission with this option enabled. Changing aircraft to F-16 this option disappears. :joystick:

Thanks - works fine in Ukraine. No doubt I need more RAM. Strange that the complicated Tomcat demands less PC power than a simple F-16
