St3v3f, or anyone else, is there any advantages or disadvantages to using Do Script verses Do Script file?

The manpads seem to keep the fast movers away close to the bases and the AI jets are still in too keep them busy. With a good balance the mission goes well.

AEF observations of the July18 version. After testing the exact version available in Wolle's post #123 and having no problems we decided to do some stress testing. -We added "4 more Huey's for a total 8 heuy's, 2 A10c's and 3 F15's to the blue side and 1 su27 and 1 su33 to the red side. All flyable. -The map setting was friendlies visible only. -No external views. -Network connection speed set to Lan. Results Most number of players on at one time was 10 About 20 people coming and going over the 4 hours After 4 hours we had NO disconnects. We named the A10c's as "Springfield ##" so they were able to call up the "request to-do list" and get lat/longs for tasking. We did have 3 cases of pilots not getting in Huey's but they got in a different Huey so put that down to the DCS gremlins. We had a great time and we will continue to add aircraft and objectives for balance and enjoyment. The AEF would like to thank, Wolle and everyone one else, for their perseverance in solving the bugs. Happy flying. Fang.

After testing the adf freq found that 200 and 220 couldn't be picked up. others seemed ok. Can be hard to lock into sometimes but 200 and 220 had no lock.

Sure mate. Is the latest version the one on Sven's server last night?

I was on last night for about an hour with no crashes but the ADF was all over the place? Wouldn't have found anything without F10 map.

For the first time, I think I'll wait on this update until I see some fix's.

Here is my 2 cents worth. If I had the know how as a developer , My first plane would be a Cessna 172/150, and or similar low wing aircraft. The kind most people learn to fly in the real world. Once word got out nearly all flying schools and clubs would set at least one computer up with it to use as a teaching aid. How many would that be?, Thousands. They'd be excellent for learning visual referencing, Pattern practice, IFR training. Just about everything you can think of minus ATC, and that might come. And that would bring a lot of new ppl into our Virtual world.

Just finished playing this in back too back missions on the aef server, all spots filled and it went great. And I think its up again. Excellent mission. The Huey pilots had a lot of work to do and every one on comms giving them stick for any failed pickups. Really brought the Huey into the mission environment. Yes I enjoy the newspaper as a way of introduction into the scenario. Thanks to all involved.

Not working here at the AEF. ? Everything installed well and in the green but nothing showing up in the ts3?

No logitech software used here. Started with 70 Saturation, 20 curves, 0 dead zone for both pitch and roll. Now at 90 saturation, 0 curves and 0 dead zones. 100 Saturation soon.
