Poor comparison... EA and dice have released a significant amount of upgrade/update material for the BF franchise. Not to mention final patches that have removed security features and made previous payware add ons free. But..... The purchasing audience of the BF franchise far outnumbers that of DCS I would imagine so they (ED) do not have the luxury of huge sales receipts to fall back on. The benefits of the addon may seem marginal, but then it's cost is also quite marginal in the big scheme of things as well.

This question applies to BS and A10. Will the DVD key allow activation of the DL version? I'm one of those loons who likes a box but it'd be ineresting to know if I could simply apply the DVD key to the downloaded full installer (all patches). My guess is that it does... but I'd like to be sure. The DL's would then become my "never scratched or misplaced" archive.

You'll go blind, doing that. So all these downloads and not one comment yet about play.

The ironwork seems to indicate a drop nose. Those are ejection seats so it is the kind of aircraft that gets into the thick of it so survivability is an issue. Eastern bloc or Western bloc? -

Mebbe it's time I stop yanking Topol's chain, eh? Regardless, the unplensatries of searching for this ordinance design are kind of a buzz kill for me. The things we do to our fellow man.... -

And, worse yet (or perhaps for the better), searching for bombs give one a new perspective. You find lots of very troubling pictures and stories. You know how they say fighter pilots make movies and bomber pilots make history? I'll stick with movies, thank you. -

You know, searching for that one in a post 911 world might get some of us in trouble. Carnivore is probably going nuts right now and the black helicopters are headed my way. Thanks! -

Shadow, no. Lucas, no. Topol, no. But you all have the right idea. There is yet another clue in the picture -

PZL-230 Skorpion http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PZL-230_Skorpion Neat Polish design that never saw wind under it's wings, sadly. I like Canards. I'd love to Take the controls of a Rutan Long-EZ. Something tells me it would be just a bit more fun than puttering around in a Cessna 152... although for as much flyng as I have done lately, even the 152 sounds like fun. And seeing as I have nothing banked yet (except for my Christmas riddle which I will hold for a bit). I will wait until you tell me I am correct to post my next. -

Anyone around long enough to have witnessed the birth of falcon 4.0 will well remember that the dynamic campaign was any thing but dynamic way back when. All that virtual warfare consumed resources and wore even good PCs to a halt. Be careful what you ask for, you may get it and regret it. -
Cold winter air does many good things for engine and wing performance. I fly Cessna 150/152/172 aircraft and I can tell you the difference between flying on Feb 15 and Aug 15 is dramatic. In January its tough to keep the thing on the ground on take off roll and in August is just as hard to get it off the ground. Wings generate more lift in the dense air and engines develop more power as well.
