  1. Seems to be ~80km range and lofting from current war footage.
  2. Can we disable isometric view for Combined arms? Its a bit cheatish because it enables players to see over the obstacles they wouldn't be able to see from vehicle.

  4. Oh please, we got 2 objectives. Also you lost your farp but reclaimed it before we got comm tower and stopped us from wining. I cant spawn stuff with mi8 , drive tanks, and GCI alone, as you say low pop. Btw not being able to kill in fighter and being butt kicked... plz watch tacview. I understand your emotions but toughen up a bit, its a game. Also mission needs crate cap. Not sure it has it.
  5. How the hek im suppose to know whos new player? Im sorry for the person leaving but lets not behave like this is against the rules. If I shot him with a tank then what? This is rare occurrence thats why I bragged. All we had was a frikin truck at the farp and mission was about to end. We needed farp to finish all objectives. You wiped everyhing we had there. Ill pause my playing I guess. You tell Red when we suppose to shoot with blanks.

  7. True but irl you wouldn't want to get close to target area. Especially if that area has targets that need ATGMs.
  8. Cuz wiring is available only on right wing on 35M. Just think how much time it would take for a Hind to use all 16 in combat if possible, considering it attacks one by one target. There is no realistic need for 16.
  9. Why don`t we have radar screen in Shilka like with other sams? Vehicle itself had it. Currently it behaves as simple radar ranging when player uses it.
  10. There were ground units. Vulcans,trucks, chaparral... You got on maybe when they got destroyed?
  11. Swedish delivery. Red farp Mi24 cant use/mount ATGMS. Also blue farp has landing pads so it cant be bombed, while red still can be blown up.
  12. Same for RED. Only bombs and rockets no ATGMs and crates.

    Its not realistic to see what is happening. Its like installing MFD with tv channel. They should make iff and continue work on Pete not this.
  15. I found someone quoting that from Mi35M restictions on a military forum, so I guess it didnt change. That 10 uses should be full ammo load and in DCS we wont see effect of that cuz we would need 5-10 flights. There are also restrictions tied to use of specifically UPK-23-250 when having missiles but we dont have that either.
  16. Blue ribbon ones can be used but still only after limited use of gun/rockets.
  17. Supposedly 9M114 is prohibited from being used if gun/pod has been fired or rocket pods first. Do we get that limitation in DCS? Worry is of forming cracks in solid propellant of missile via vibrations. Would be interesting to get random kaboom when not following this and trying to fire missile.
  18. Generally canopy have 2 zones. One close to frame is not expected to be as distortion free as main part of it. But still as planes get older it deteriorates. Then it is replaced with new one. Here in video you have really bad ones shown. I think ppl would start screaming if ED introduced canopy distortion.

  21. A10 is resilient. But its slow. So if he gets in area saturated with AD he will be in trouble. Engines are well armoured and have been known to take a hit and still keep plane in air. I dont think in DCS its weaker then Hind. Tho Hind has some bug issues. Recently rewatching tacview I noticed I took 2-3 stinger hits from avenger. Maybe its proxy fuse issue. But 50cal trashes Hinds systems regularly.
  22. Yea it would be nice if those F4s MiG23s were implemented in that mission. If one side is taking many objectives and other is not. Maybe set to target helos. Crate limit implemented was nice.
  23. Is it possible to maybe add spawnable Cold war planes as a result for one/some of objectives completed? Example: Red EWR no.1 blownup spawns 2 F-4 on fightersweep mission, or doing something to blue spawns 2 MiG-23s. GS server had those. While it dont change anything mission wise it just ads stuff to go for when low player numbers are on. Weapons can always be limited to Aim9/R60s if ppl complain about BVR ones. Or it can be other way round. If one side is dominant and did like most of objectives while other didnt even one then underdog side gets its spawn. Also we could see planes that are not yet created as a modules. Nothing massive or mission changing, just to spice things.
  24. Battle over Sukhumi unleashed: This mission always turns into attrition warfare. Red is fighting a 3D printer at blue farp. Last time we did well and still couldn't destroy as much as they deploy. Is it possible to have a limit on the amount of stuff you can print? Or at least have custom made farp. So it can be cratered with bombs? Currently pads are elevated so no amount of big bombs will do anything to it. This mission is very fun once it moves from that bottleneck.
  25. As usual Abrams is safe from all but nuclear strike. No indirect dmg.
