Yesterday I had issues of Pete not locking up air targets that are clearly visible and close (in Prince of Persia).
Is maybe Pete lock air targets off in editor on some missions for Mi-24?
R60 will have higher hit chance then O ataka. Range of ataka also goes down when target is flanking fast. Most fights will be fighter overshooting on first attempt and getting R60 in the back. Rossmum could have killed few more F5s if he only had R60s.
EWU reduced the exhaust gas temperature from 500-600 C to 150-200 C and helicopter thermal signature up to 60 %.

Mi8/24 ill rockets dont work. But 24 is usefull in this mission. More then 50 I think. Those ill. rockets last ~15sec anyway.

Fly low and fast also preflare in target zone. Fly it like its Hind but then target detection is hard cuz of single pilot. Sad truth is attack helos in manpad saturated space are in serious problem.
Tell Pete to look at area below helicopter and he will lock him up. Even before, with shturm you could have engaged helos. As long as they don`t do some sudden alt change or crazy maneuvering it will hit. With proxy fuze ataka hit % just got higher.
Maybe its just me but Illumination rockets work for Ka50 only. I couldn't get them to light up on Mi8 and Mi24.
Kh29T and AGM65Ks wont track at night also it seems. Even if area illuminated.
Some ppl dont read briefing so being able to mark/draw everything and see in F10 is great. As I understood this - we can trigger those markers/layers to show up depending on something. So lets say if one mission obj. is achieved other can pop up on map etc.
