There are some pictures of 8x atakas on both pylons that add to confusion, but thats just for the sake of demonstration. Installations for it are supposedly only in right wing. There are combat videos of Iraqi ones with 2xS8 pods and 8 atakas on right wing. Also Serbian ones on excersises with atakas only on right wing.

Well first we must know losses attributed to just MANPADs. If we look at US helicopter losses in Afganistan they are around 1/3 of Soviet ones and no major MANPAD threat is present.

Well, without jtac we had to have mi8 fly around low and draw fire to locate enemy unit. Was fun claiming and reclaiming airfield few times tho. Its a rare thing to happen. Not counting the waste of time. Can we atleast have the change of Msta cargo that turns into truck. Something light. Even a tigr armored car would be fun. Blue use humves runing around.

If we can get JTAC cargo on One night in abu dabi. Its pain to look for hiding units in urban areas. Al Dufra airfield exchanged hands 2-3 times because we coldnt locate last gound unit on last airfield.

Msta deploys as truck on that mission :S

If proxy fuse went off its not a miss. @Northstar98 If you get hit this bad you land asap. You dont gamble with your life by trying to limp back hoping your chopper dont fall apart. Unless your in DCS...

Here are few for starters...

Lets be honest. Most ppl will run full speed at bunch of ground targets, to see what happens.

Tail has no protection. Hits in cargo area should not bring it down. Cockpit and engines are protected to some degree. Manpad will probably bring it down as any other choper. My guess it will limp home being shreeded with bullets. At least he did in rl.

Leo1 and Leo2 is drivable. Maybe we can replace Abrams now.

Well, even 2 Mi24 can create problems then for each other if they select same freq and code. Would be interesting if we get this. R2US irc had to be paired with plane radar so other planes dont interfere with guidance irl. But we dont have that in DCS.

I always change formation to diamond to fix start-stop problems.

There are pics of R60s on outer and middle pylons. Havent seen any on inner ones. Think Legion is overhyped hes not thinking straight .

Su25t is ok. In a way it simulates Su17m4 capabilty wise. Maybe vikhrs to be removed.

Mi24 "flaws" were addressed in Mi35M. They shortened the wings to help with hovering, maneuvering and fixed landing gear to reduce weight. But new problems arose - top speed fell form 335 to 300km/h and it became less stable in flight according to pilots. On Mi35P Phoenix they dropped all those changes and retained original design.

How about assault rifle groups and scout humvees/BRDM? Just to find right ratio.
