  2. what happened to v1.2.3 anyway? we had a newsletter before christmas saying it was already out and then nothing, not even a note from the devs lol. I cant wait to be able to direct aircraft from the map =) :)

  4. Not to sound mean or anything. Trust me if they do finish a Harrier that works in DCS I Will be first in the que hehe. I like flying the FSX version but it seems unfinished somehow. Shame
  5. no sign of a patch yet? would be nice to be able to fly things thing properly.
  6. is there a way to move a Jtac unit from the F10 view and he still be able to act as a JTAC? As it is now he works fine untill I move him then he stops working, and I can no longer talk to him =(
  7. would like to be able to use the JTAC after giving the unit a command to move. As it is now as soon as you ask it to move in F10 view you lose all contact with it. Would be cool to be able to direct him towards an area thats got suspected targets =)
  8. the Ka-50 is like Glados from portal, seems nice but will kill you when you are doing fine. It does seem to take some mastering. I can fly it well enough to get from A to B Plus some target practice. Its just that its always ready to kill you. And you dont get cake. Love the A-10c. Cant wait for the future, its looking bright!!
  9. Ship sim is the only thing I know that might come close. its pretty basic but you can load ships with a crane. the last version of Ship sim needs a super computer to run it though.
  10. good news about the patch!. Been loving the Tacpack for the bug and cant wait to try the carrier/(SAM even though you cant explode hehe) creation options with the Harrier! Would be nice when VRS release the SDK for the tac pack system if we could get a functional weapons system (Ie being able to blow stuff up :)). Is this likely to happen do you think? It would also make it usable with the upcoming FSX@war addon. Thanks
  11. Well,,, had a fly around. Dropped 4 LGB (very nice explosions and a crater left behind hehe!) and shot down a poor unsuspecting Cessna 172. Great explosion and the part where it breaks into many parts is great :) but I dont thing Seattle ATC will be too happy. Frame rate is about the same as the pre beta Bug, even with the FLIR on its more than flyable. Refueled with a make shift tanker (A321) that works really well. (PS anyone know a good tanker I can download and use. Refueling with a civilian airliner is just wierd =))

  13. there is a 17 page PDF but its far from being a manual lol. It does not tell you anything about key commands, and how to even start the thing. I understand its Work in progress though. They got so work to do =)

  20. :) BMS Falcon is frankly Brilliant!. Its well supported and stable (For me anyway). They are on the 3rd update so far and coming along nice. So much has changed since Falcon4AF. The graphics are far and above AF also. Its almost a whole new sim =)
  21. the track pro clip will help with a bright room or when the sun is out. as it emits its own lightsource (its powered from a usb port) and so is less reliant on reflections
  22. seems like the JTAC aircraft control is for multiplayer only. Which is a shame as the whole point of JTAC is to direct aircraft hehe. Multiplayer is sure alot of fun but I dont always want to play online.
  23. ability to load and unload soliders for APCs. I know I know it would most likely require a huge re-write of the game code but still. :thumbup: Sure need some kind of min max range for arty and timers for rounds. And labels for areas on the map would be a huge bonus. Not a complaint at all, I just miss these things from SteelBeasts Pro hehe. Still alot of fun in this mod though. I can see a bright future for DCS.
  24. PS no one is forcing you to buy it, its not required for running singleplayer or multiplayer. All it does is give you more options in your missions. I personaly think its brilliant and well worth the money. My multiplayer session last night was a blast. Dont want to control gound units from the air?, dont buy =)
  25. was playing in MP yesterday and its great fun. Wondering if there is anyway to rearm tanks etc? I got in a few armor units and they had no ammo =( :smilewink:
