AI got a real and positive boost in BS2 hehe, No more wingman wondering off on his own refusing to follow instructions, its so much better. BTW your wingman will attack buildings, which if im right is a new one. Even the A10c wingman wont attack buildings but the KA50 does. Bit of usless info hehe

The sounds are much better, much more uniform during start up, the old one used to go up a notch suddenly during the engine 2 start, but this is no longer the case. The Rotors also and much deeper chop to them which sounds brilliant. Cant wait to see missions that invovle the Ka50 and the A10c lol. Could be intresting.

trimming is something you wont notice you are doing after maybe 10 or 20 hours of flying. Its like those little corrections your body makes when you ride a bike. Eventualy it becomes a non event.

im not sure I like the way they made the clouds. Its not that its bad but when I first noticed it, I could not stop noticing it hehe. The way the change when I move my head (more noticable with TIR). Its not a bad thing its just a bit like when you notice a scene in a movie thats obviously not supposed to be thier, but you cannot watch the film again without seeing it hehe. I do look forward to the full release and I will play with the editor soon, I used to make missions for the original OFP but im sure its all changed hehe.

what ever the next aircraft is I will buy it!!! Ive had so much fun with the A-10c so far and learn something new everytime I get into it hehe. Would love an F/A-18 but with the upcoming tac pack for the VRS bug I might be able to live with that hehe. Ive learned from programs like falcon 4 that I am rubbish at Air to Air though so id love another ground pounder.

I would have thought ground pounders would be prime targets for upgrades to Helmet Cue systems tbh. Im suprised all the CAS aircraft dont have this. If I was in charge they would hehe. Which is why im not in charge, they cost monies =)

Im happy my copy is now 100% stable on my PC. Ive just logged my 10th hour in multi player and finnished the short campain (took me about 6 hours total hehe) Not a single crash or bluescreen since updating to the new nvidia drivers 286.62.

Metro is the noob tubers map hehe. (Yes ive been known to overuse the tube alot sorry) :pilotfly:

even the apollo capsules on thier way back to earth slowed right down on thier own before any chutes, just the friction of the ever more dense air was all they needed.

its the 1 feature I really really miss tbh. It was so much fun telling ground units what to do.

i just use the 60 min option and sign out when im empty or targets are dead. Would like to know if there is any diffrence selecting 15 more, might need to test it.

ok after some tweaking and fiddling I managed to get some multiplayer time in without crashes. Not really sure what I did but I was able to stay in the same server for over 2 hours without a crash or BSOD. Time will tell if its truely fixed but so far so good. I do like the big maps though.

does not work for me =( it just askes if I want to use this key as its already i use. I unplug everything and now im getting random crashes all the time.

am starting to wish I had no got this game, there does not seem to be any way to unbind joysticks etc, have to unplug everything if I want to play. I got screwed over with not being able to use BF2 as well (constant BSOD only game Ive had that ever gives a BSOD btw)

so glad I got my Fiber optic Broadband installed last week hehe. Gonna download it hopefully. Im hoping it does not have the same issue as BF2 though. Its the only game on my entire system that gives me a BSOD less than 10min into a multiplayer game. Every single time. Ive Tried everything I know of to fix it, ive upgraded ram put in a new graphics card (Asus Geforce GTX 560Ti) even a new cooler for the CPU that keeps core below 55c and reinstalled windows, nothing made any diffrence at all. If BF3 starts giving BSOD I will go crazy.

a JSTARs would be nice. I did have some F15s flying over the battlefield at 15,000ft and they would randomly call out ground targets even though they had only A/A weapons.

any fix for the tanker wandering off the map after refueling an AI aircraft? seems like every time I ask my wingman to fly to tanker he finnishes refueling and the tanker refuses any further requests and flies off map. I posted in the Tech support back in august but got reply. It seems to be a reccuring issue that went away in 1.0.8 and came back.

new CBUs look awsome!! Great to see a great sim coming along nicely =)

cant wait for this, i love all the A2A Aircraft especialy the B-17 (is it even possible for a flightsim to "Feel" more alive! than with the B-17?) Hopefully VRS wont take too much longer with their tac pac and after that they will develop a 3rd party tac pac SDK so you can make the guns work and blow stuff up in FSX =)
