  1. I have the same issue after this last patch, Airfield hangars dissapear before you have taken off from airfield, Use F2 view too look around and the seem to dissapear at around 2km.. Altso Static objects like ammo dumps placed in mission editor doesent show until you at litterally standing on top of them.. Please get this fixed asap...
  2. 1st pri. on my list would be to fix the export issue.... or create a new export function to allow cockpit builders to extract all relevant data to their own AC regardless of server settings, this would include lat & long position of own AC... since there is no Bullseye in Lockon pit's and the HSI is partly fubar ( read not working if not in nav mode) This would be extremely useful for tool making etc... imagine a working HSI on a second screen regardless of instrument modes :) Fox-one
  3. I recently took up on Falcon 4 again too this time with Open Falcon and all i could think of was "Wow 10 years has passed and still this baby rocks" Ok gfx is not so good but better than it was and all the other tweaks Thx to F4 community.. I mention this only to show what a touch of "moddability" can do for a sim ! Fox-one
  4. If you can make this work on the G-15 keyboard page me and I would be interested in trying to get my source for the Bullseye app (LCD / second monitor) ported or if u can use Delphi code we can work something out :)
  5. Thx for the update :)
  6. Just watched it :D what can i say exept WOW it ROCKS. great movie ! I just love it..... And yeah it deserves an award ;)
  7. Good stuff TekaTeka ! <S>
  8. In the "lockon.bat" you would need theese two lines : copy myconfig.lua config.lua /y Lockon.exe where the myconfig.lua is the edited copy of your original config.lua but ALWAYS have a backup before doing this things just in case :)
  9. Wow is all i can think, that guy is really talented....
  10. Well you might find this interesting then ;) http://n.ethz.ch/student/mmoeller/fms/index_e.html The free FMS RC simulator... Helis too...... Regards
  11. Happy birthday Zuki ! may you have many more to come !
  12. Great teaser Fox .. keep it up.... I want to see the rest of it !!!!
  13. Turn it off, I use a printed map anyway, quicker & better imho....
  14. I love it...
  15. Great Job Helix ! <S> I love the Pilot's in server module :)
  16. Hmm I'm sorry you feel this way, but for you'r information sir, I do my own programming in Delphi and the code i wrote for this is my own and only my own.... I have spoken to none and gotten nothing from anyone on this matter. But yes you are correct that Salutations should go out to those before us ! and they atleast have my thanks and admiration for seeing the possibilities ! The 169th wanted something similar and I was asked to help, and I found a solution of my own for collecting data... Now whats wrong with ppl. saying they like mine and Dredds work ? We all know we weren't the first, so what, we did not pretend to be either.. As a programmer getting feedback from the community is what really keeps me doing this stuff. And beleive me.. If Dreyou or Zorlac, wants my backend for collecting their stats data I'll be happy to oblige, after all they made working pages first and If my executable program can help in some way.. well be my guest ! All they need to do is make contact and ask ;) After all what we want is more ppl. flying in the virtual skies of Lockon ! My hat's off to you Zorlac & Dreyou !
  17. Thx & keep doing you great work Ironhand !
  18. What about using the MP.LOG file for that purpose ? It will clearly give you Coalition and Who killed who using weapon x ! A benefit to this if possible, is that NO export options need to be enabled, less chance of cheating ..... So given you know what the target is reported as in this file it should be possible.... Regards 169th Fox
  19. Yeah. I would like to see this feature as well, a logbook like the one we had in F4's multiplayer, where it would log # of deaths instead of plain stopping the log..... Would be nice to know how many hour's I have spendt flying Lockon since the release :) I can assure you it's not few !
  20. And some more :)
  21. Just had to enter some of my screenies ;)
  22. Correction ! disabling server exports is NOT required... with the script that is in the Bullseye package placed in the server, the server will now ONLY allow export of you'r own aircraft lat & long ! so servers can now go back to forcing the accompanying export.lua on the client. and be "cheat safe" once again !
  23. Sorry for this late reply but im at work at the moment, I'll try however to answer.... 1st. The Matrix orbital USB display's are supported and working as Cougar said the Crystal fontz LCD devices I am trying to support but as I do not own one You can imagine how hard it is to try to incorporate it.... So I will say this If you want it to work 100% use a Matrix orbital USB device 2nd. For you'r hardcoding lists etc.... I have already written the update wich does this and this is how it works: When you start the app for the first time you will download the current 169th maps from the 169th server (5 small maps) this will altso create a text file i the app's folder with the map name and the bullseye coords for the prog to access when needed..... In addition to this there will be a MAPmanagement dialog where you or anyone else can add you'r own maps with the coordinates you want.. This requires you to first copy you'r map into the app folder and then add the map using the management dialogue setting the bullseye coords at the same time...... So as GGTharos said this could if you want it to change the use into an nav application, given you make a few maps/coordinates and add those into the list using the management dialogue, you could then just switch map for a new bullseye etc.... I am not finished writing this app yet so more will propably be added, but for now I have to focus on getting the map screen updates optimized so it does not slow down a single PC system.... New version will be announced here when it's availiable wich I hope will be in a week or two when I get back from work.... Until then, I'm sadly locked to ansering questions and giving explanations in here.. :) Hedgehog You must be playing on a server that has the accompanying Export.lua installed, or it will not work.. all that file does is to allow every client to export his/her lat & long + alt for use with this system ! Hope this sheds some light on your questions, if not ask again :)
  24. Mmmm I see what you are getting at, Idea is not bad, but it might pose some troubles, for Servers wanting ONLY one thing and not even the remote possibility for the other :) But I think it is possible/doable but then again you will need the server to export all parameters for all the apps, it's supposed to support export for... and that may again open for cheat's.... Thx Zillion ;)
  25. Well I just did, ;) both export trough a Port receiving it in a app. then resending it to an Serial LCD from MatrixOrbital. shoving bullseye info on your aircraft only and the Server still pushes it's Export.lua (my version of it) wich in turn means that every client in this case can have Lat & Long and Alt info on their own ac. only... More info on my app in the "Useful stuff" thread. What did u want to send to the LCD ? and what did you plan to write the app with ? I used Delphi 3 (old but still going)
