No one said the the modules should be in that fee. The fee would basically go into the Code of the Sim and would include the maps, since that is what makes the heart of the Sim. Since there are a lot of third Partys involved, you can not include their work into that. So yes, you pay 5 bucks, i dont think thats gonna hurt anybody, you get the maps and pay maybe a little less for each module. And 5 bucks times the amount of players minus taxes could improve a lot. Exactly that. It's not pleasent if you have to commit to something in a financial way, but the way they'r on right know is not going to work. Simply because as Vertigo72 also stated their only income is the early release of new stuff. And the more incomplete the new modules are going to get, the more people will not buy them in the beginning, reducing the cashflow even more. The wheels of the bus go round & round...

Come on guys, thats stupid. Nobody is talking about 40 Dollars. Those subscriptions range from 5 to 10 Dollars, witch is basically nothing. The point is: every company needs a more or less stable cashflow in order to hire, plan and develop. And unless ED has the most amazing crystal ball on the planet, they have no chance of forecasting their monthy income. How on gods green earth are you supposed to plan on that basis? There is a reason why the big shots are moving away from a "pay once/use forever" model towards a subscription. It's simply the more stable way of making money and therefor to run a business. Because let's be honest - even the guys at ED need a salary at the end of the month. Thoses sales have to cover the cost of development, future support and maintaining the core of the game. And all of that on a base where you do not know how much money you make on a module? Besides - I'm shure that they would be able to drop the prices for new stuff pretty much, because they do not have to calculate a "panic fee" in case it does not sell like they anticipated. From a business point of view: Free2Play with DLC's may work for games like pubg or apex, but not for a niche simulation like DCS. Period.

Hi, What I'm missing is the possibility to declare an emergency. Noticed yesterday - i did a case III, slightly cocked it up, had to bolter and do a go around. Now - that would not have been a big issuie, but my gear got damaged. I managed to Land on the second try, but was not able to use NWS because of couse its broken. I looked over to the right side and saw those guys in the red jacket and there beautiful fire tractor. Long Story Short... It would be amazing if i could declare an emergency befor landing in a case like that and have those guys responding and eventually Pulling you of the Deck if you can not move on your own. Das dass alles WIP sollte allen klar sein - Daher würde ich mich auch nie zu Optik o.ä. äußern. Wobei es für meine ungeübten und komplett anspruchslosen Augen (Ironie off) für dieses Stadium der Entwicklung eigentlich echt schon vielversprechend aussieht.

Das ist korrekt. Allerdings wohl eher kleine technische Details. Denke, es sollte kein Problem für eine zukünftige AWACS sein, genau ein solches Feld zu erzeugen um eine Ortung möglich zu machen. Oder eben im Jet selbst, aber hier kommen wir ins Feld der Spekulation. Zu Hensold - Es macht aber wenig Sinn eine solche Aussage zu treffen, wenn es keinen Backup für selbige gibt. Und irgendeinen Grund wird es schon gehabt haben, das die F-35 auf der ILA, bei der auch dieses Sytem in der Nähe war gegrounded waren. Gesendet von meinem SM-N975F mit Tapatalk

Ist doch alles nur "Bla Bla." - Hensold kann die F-35 orten, jetzt überlegt mal, wie lange es noch dauert bis die Systeme auch fliegen. Das ganze Stealththema ist massiv überbewertet.

Erst mal willkommen im Forum. Ich kopiere die Liveries in den Ordner "CoreMods" im DCS Verzeichnis. Dort in den entsprechenden Ordner für Liveries und dort in den des entsprechenden Flugzeugs. Ich erstelle einen neuen Ordner, z.b. "Luftwaffe" und kopiere den Inhalt dort hinein. Ich bin mir jetzt nicht zu 100% sicher, aber ich nehme an das die Liveries im Editor nur bei den Flugzeugen angezeigt werden, zu dessen Land sie gehören. Wenn du also eine Luftwaffenskin runtergeladen hast, müsstest du die F-18 Deutschland zuordnen. Im Anschluss findest du die Skin unten im Loadoutmenü. Das mit dem Modul hatte ich schon versucht. Habe gestern DCS komplett runtergeworfen, dann nochmal gesucht, alles mit DCS manuell gelöscht und dann die ganzen 90GB nochmal runtergeladen. Das mag alles sein, auch wenn ich es nicht glaube. Das Grundgerüst - Ich lehne mich mal weit aus dem Fenster - wird sicherlich nicht für zivile Zwecke entwickelt. Daher denke ich das wir was Flugphysik etc ein ziemlich realistisches Modul bekommen werden. Quasi eine deklassifierte Version. Was den Rest betrifft - Solange ich mir das Flight Manual einfach downloaden kann, mache ich mir auch keine Gedanken über Fehler in der Bedienlogik. Wie gesagt - als ehemaliger Kommdodore wird er schon wissen was er darf und was nicht. Ich für meinen Teil freue mich auch mehr auf die flugphsikalischen Eigenschaften als auf die Systeme dieses Moduls weil die Kiste ist schon verdammt agil. Denke das wird der größte Funfaktor. Den Rest wird man abwarten müssen. Aber ich denke auch, dass die Jungs einen ähnlich hohen Qualitätsanspruch haben und sicherlich auch im Vorfeld überlegt haben, wie man das umsetzen kann. Ich würde jetzt einfach mal davon ausgehen, dass ein ehemaliger Kommodore ziemlich gut weiß was klassifiziert (VS) ist und was nicht. Ich lehne mich entspannt zurück und warte ab. Zumal ein Normalsterblicher ohnehin nicht sagen kann was in real life nun tatsächlich exakt so ist wie im Modul.
