  1. Lets start at the beginning ..... design/draw your HOTAS buttons/switches on a piece of A4 paper as a template
  2. And switching seats in the air is "realistic"? If they fix the clunky seat exchange that will be great but it is what it is for now. If GEORGE is flying and takes one i think id like to fly from the CPG seat to get home.
  3. My habit is to do all the flying I want from the pilots seat and use rockets and guns as desired and then switch to the CPG seat for Hellfires. Once I'm in the CPG seat I wont go back to the Pilot seat, I'll control GEORGE back to home, he will get me to a 10ft hover but will not land, so, I'll take control of the aircraft with C and his trims will hold and I'll just drop the engine RPM or the collective to descend the last 10ft in a stable state to land.
  4. Been playing around with this this morning and managed to get a good result for myself, I run 3 x 32 inch monitors with a total resolution of 5760 x 1080. The file I have been editing is the ControlsIndicator_page found in the DCS/Mods/aircraft/AH-64/Cockpit/Scripts/ControlsIndicator folder. I made a copy of the original file as a backup The line you need to EDIT is base.init_pos = {-aspect + size_w_05 + margin, 1 - size_h_05 - margin} I edited the line to say base.init_pos = {0.00,0.00} This gave me the dead center position of my center monitor so i could then re-edit the file to tweek the position suitable for me, I have attached a pic with co-ordinates around my center monitor locations. Hope this is of help to anyone.
  5. Could use the old map now given the current situation in that area.
  6. Start Enroute Task option at the waypoint you want them to get busy after they have flown up to where you need them, add your advanced bombing actions again at the same waypoint or add another one 10 miles on etc?
  7. Maybe clear the GA role at the starting waypoint and add it after the orbit/hold waypoint using the waypoint edit function? Hopefully the AI will then only fly their route until they assume the GA role at the waypoint you want them to go active on their role.
  8. So RAT doesnt work in more recent patches?
  9. Ditto Same for me and I havn't found the ideal solution yet, my workaround atm is to turn down/off the mfd brightness on the mfd I don't want to see overlayed.
  10. Only displays one image in multiplayer and not correctly sized, works fine in offline where multiple images can be selected/viewed.
  11. More practice means you will become less reliant on auto hover for landing especially.
  12. Read the above posts fella and experiment, my pic of you just before you crashed shows you out of trim and Viper said the hover mode will be auto disengaged at 5 mtrs on descent so your trim settings are active there. Wags videos dont allow you to see the trim guage to clearly and i don't think there is an auto hover mode training video ingame.
  13. If anyone else watches the track then fast forward to the end as it goes wrong at his destination airfield. Heres what i thought i saw, When you went into hover mode you were offset from the runway heading, you applied yaw to the right to line up with the runway heading still in hover mode, the new heading was held but were you holding onto the rudder for this? You descended slowly whilst maintaining the new heading, at about 3 mtrs in the dust the helo banks back to the left as if it is trying to get back to your origional hover heading which was offset from the runway heading, trims are not neutral. I hope thats how i remembered seeing it. EDIT - Screenshot added
