  1. You forgot to do a proper walkaround. You would have spotted the chalk with your name on the side of the GBU.
  2. Rgr, anyway - resetting your controls is the way to go for starters. Get it to work in 'vanilla' mode - then go play with addon software afterwards (ex TARGET). One step at a time - that way you will rule out whats working or not.
  3. Yes, the beta forum - thats why we have it. Sticky: Resetting your Controllers
  4. o7 Happy Birthday, Wags :) The Official Warthog cake is hereby presented to you:
  5. Yes, with IE8 x86 on Win7 x64. Not tested other browsers.
  6. When you have controller issues and need to get back to DCS defaults - thats the procedure. If no issues with the input/controllers, ignore the post.
  7. Allright, time to chill. Back on topic - in a mature manner. You all have been warned.
  8. Yes, it's changed quite a bit - Servman needs an overhaul for DCSW. It'll have to wait until we're in release - due to both testing tasks these days & MP stability.
  9. Thats good news. Now it would be nice to know which settings affect the problem for you guys. If someone is able to replicate this behaviour, return / removal of problem, please post us a list of steps or settings you found to affect it. Thanks :)
  10. No, not unless you change hardware components on your PC.
  11. derail regarding "game / sim" removed - stay on topic.
  12. TROUBLESHOOTING - how to reset your controllers back to DCS defaults. You can reset your controllers by removing all other files than the Default-settings. Win 7 / Vista: You will find your controller files under: - C:\Users\<you>\Saved Games\DCS Warthog\Config\Input Joysticks Delete the files, they should be names such as: Joystick - HOTAS Warthog {207A3CB0-E368-11df-8001-444553540000}.lua Saitek Pro Flight Rudder Pedals {F20F8B40-8379-11de-8006-444553540000}.lua Throttle - HOTAS Warthog {207A3CB0-E368-11df-8002-444553540000}.lua Easy mode: You may have to repeat the required steps for "A-10C_easy" if you fly that mode. Other input devices If you need to reset Keyboard, Mouse, TrackIR: .\Config\Input\Aircrafts\A-10C\trackir .\Config\Input\Aircrafts\A-10C\keyboard .\Config\Input\Aircrafts\A-10C\mouse .\Config\Input\Aircrafts\A-10C\headtracker
  13. GUI sound control. But if you meant cockpit, knobs & switches - then you'll have to wait for someone to make a mod. Or use the wishlist as suggested.
  14. Please contact support if your serial is not listed for your account. Sticky: How to contact Support
  15. And you pressed the button "Request access to a closed Beta forum" after you set up your email?
  16. Yes, read my previous post - the one ahead of the one you made now. Look & interact in the same mode.
  17. Win7 with UAC on - will prevent you or a malicous wares making changes to C:\Program Files. Make sure you Rightclick Notepad++ and use "Run as Administrator", reply to the UAC dialog - and use Notepad++ "Open File" function. Now find the file, make the change and you should be able to save. :)
  18. Unit, Vehicle - depends on country what kind of infantry you will find. Just look in the list. ;)
  19. Are you sure you are using an administrator-account while editing? Also, check Taskmanager / processlist to see if you find the Launcher.exe / DCS.EXE (or was it simulator.exe) running. In that case close it. Otherwise check your antivirus - perhaps it's blocking it for you. Or try a reboot to free up any locked files.
  20. I really hope with 64bit will see an end to the memory related variant, sometime in the future when BS is patched to the correct levels.
  21. Even how tempting it is - this is not a pirate vs antipiracy thread. - Feel free to ask question about the new protection system. - Comments on DRM / piracy in general will be deleted. This is due to the fact that those kind of posts escalates out of hand to quickly.
  22. See if it helps to clear "DCS A-10c Beta\temp" in the DCS folder. Otherwise, try this path (I can see some of you have almost tried all of the steps, but perhaps not all): - Install to C:\Games\DCS-A10C Beta or to another driveletter. - Apply Beta 2 patch to Beta 1. - Rightclick the "DCS A-10C" icon you use, go to "Compatability" tab, set "Run this program as an administrator". - Repeat for any other DCS icons. - Start DCS, go to options - set fullscreen mode. Do not change too many other options yet. - Playtest Training. - Playtest other missions. - Playtest Training again. Reclear the \temp folder if problem reappears - and report back the results. Thanks :)
  23. Are you sure it's not temperature for your CPU/GPU - and that it only seems it's the mission? And no O/C of course? Latest drivers? And yes, try a reinstall of course. HDR/MSAA on / off to see if it makes a difference. If not, try this: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=997667&postcount=8 If not, use this method to report your details for your computer: How To Report a Problem

  25. IMO sfdrv01.sys is the old starforce - pre FC2/DCS. Perhaps it's been latent in the background causing you issues? If you don't play lomac / FC1 anymore, you can uninstall those. Altough I'm not sure about the old SF removal, how to do it. Perhaps these 3 steps: http://www.gamehourz.com/steps-removing-StarForce-drivers-ftopict136689.html The Starforce in DCS isnt installing any drivers / loading drivers to protect DCS. It's no longer the "bad SF" everyone was so worried about. AFAIK it's rather a encryption scheme used to encrypt / decrypt (some of) the files on the fly when you start DCS.
