I had the same problem trying to run training missions! Then deleted the "DCS" folder in save games folder except "Config" one that I had already configured my commands and throttle not to loose anything. Training runs fine now!:)

I also thing it's a vary good idea to have one world who has all the extra planes purchased! Makes DCS games one game and work on project! :)

Did the steps you refer and check again the mission and hopefully now I can rearm. Thanks for the input man!:smilewink:

Because I have had the same problem in this mission, I couldn't rearm. Can you please explain in a more simple way how can one add ground crew in this mission in the airbase.

As I see in people signatures, many have power supplies 700, 800watt. This happens to people who have just one VGA card and normal system parts. I wonder if there is any particular reason why you have much more power than needed to your systems?

Can you give me a link or informations how to decode coordinates from JTAC's. Seems difficult to find location having had no clew what these numbers mean! I already read in wikipedia an article but can't correspondence those numbers.

Nice purchase of yours, I assume more GPU Ram is better FPS and smoother graphics! Yesterday I got ASUS GTX580 DCII 1.5MB. I am getting much better FPS! although FPS drop dramatically near airbases. Anyway I need to test it more also need to optimize graphics options!

I have been flying this plane in my old mac! I liked back then flying online dog fighting only with guns 2 or 4 (teams) people all over the world. This is a very pleasant surprise. I 'll get it for sure and love flying it in my new ASUS GTX 580 DCII which I already ordered. Just to have better FPS in A-10C!!!

I also did that, no trouble at all! first did secure erase because I had installed files in it and then I updated firmware by booting on a USB stick on linux OS. Check OCZ site and Forums.

I Hear from people that DCS A-10 is CPU hungry! I have i5 2500k oc 4.5 GHz CPU and a missions with populated air base and rainy day with clouds I get around 20FPS which is croppy to play. Haven't tested yet but I think I want a better GPU to handle the game well! If weather is sunny I get 30 to 40 FPS which is well to play! I am worry that even if I get an GTX580 1.5GB maybe the game haven't enough FPS! Any suggestion?

SSD's are quiet to HDD's which is also important! I definitely recommend SSD's!

My question is technical, I mean if I had only one SSD could I start windows without a HDD and only an SSD

Is it necessary to have both SSD and HDD in a desktop PC or I can run an SSD alone! I know that I ll have less capacity.

Yesterday I got my OCZ vertex 3 SSD. I am so exited to how quickly windows start and how responsive OS is to open new applications also A-10 loading times decrease dramatically! And this with my current machine running SATA II. Forgot to say you don't hear the disk rotαring and reading, just quiet that makes me thing I ll never go back to HDDs

Thanks guys ! I made my final decision, I just need to be patient to get new staff. Asus P8Z68-V I5 2500K COOLERMASTER HYPER 212 PLUS final choice, thinking a lot about putting the money on it, SSD OCZ VTX3 120 GB So exited to see the benefits of it!

Can I overclock to 4.5Ghz by stock cooler?

I am thinking to upgrade my pc. The reason is better frame rates in A-10 Warthog! Do you think that I make right choice or I need to reconsider some of the parts? Also I will overclock to 4 or 5 Ghz! Or maybe I wait for next gen processors! Will i be happy for at least next two years? I have just finished a very pleasant mission (Hideout) successfully! One and a half hour. I had no other help. I only read the mission briefing slowly to understand! I need to say that the game rocks guys. Keep up the good work developer team, for the time you are the best team to develop flight sim's such complicated. While I was returning back to base I saw that my speed meter had a problem not showing me the right speed but much grater and ATC couldn't clear me to land. But at the final state of landing gave me the OK, and land by the sun goes down.:)
