Hi All, I have released the latest Pilot and now CPG profile. Version v01h (19/04/2022) can be located and downloaded from https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3321515/ Primarily, it is the addition under the Radio Group, you can open the '\' menu and use 'F' Keys through the radio menu. I apologize for missing such an important menu system in the first place, should have been in version 01a. I hope this meets with some approval, but I am more than willing to adapt it should people have other organisational / grouping suggestions Thank you Toni Ps. Does anyone know if I can change the title of this thread as I update the profile, obviously it is still showing as version 01b?

I am glad I could help you fix your issue You can put icons anywhere you like. You do not need the icons for the purpose of using my StreamDeck Profile, as they are embedded within the profile itself. I only mentioned the icons in my release text to give kudos to @pellelil and the awesome work he put in to creating the icons I used most of. I created my own based on his design and format I just like to ensure that I give full credit to other people's work, even if they do say that it is freeware and unlimited distribution, I just don't like people even thinking that stuff I may use is in anyway my work, and deserve credit for the work and effort they have clearly put in For creating your own profile, just put the icons somewhere that suits you, and any profile you create, icons will also be embedded by default Does that answer your question or help at all? OK, I am just suggesting this as it is something that I have to do myself. Sometimes, when I start my system, and SD in 'non' admin mode, I press the button on the SD and get an exclamation mark appear, Green Triangle, Black ! mark Sometimes, if I restart SD in Admin mode, the problem goes away, however, sometimes it doesn't. When it doesn't, I have to uninstall the DCS Interface (Right-click one of the dcs interface buttons) one of the items in the right hand menu, and then reinstall Charles Tytler's interface v1.0.4. Don't forget to set the path to your install of DCS OpenBeta via the ID Lookup page This then resolves the issue for me I assume you have the ExportScript for the Apache installed in the correct location also? I have to have it in both Stable and Beta for mine to work. don'y know why, just do Just saying it is what I have to do, and 'might' be helpful to you also Toni

I mean start the mission, not the helicopter @Kharrn sorry, did not see your message before I posted my reply to rudel You are quite correct, the OP was referring to exactly that, starting in the CPG, not 'starting' the heli up

Hi All, I know you can switch easily enough to the CPG at the start of a mission, but is there a way to actually start as the CPG in a Single Player mission I am creating for myself. I am probably missing some easy setting, but I just can't see it Thank you Toni

Hi Frosty I got one of those a while back, because the mouse finger thing was a waste of as good control point. It was easy to install, just be careful when putting it all back together that you clear the cables out the way of the mounts for the long screws to put the sides back on Other than that, it is the best upgrade I have fitted to my TM Warthog Throttle quadrant Toni

Hi Fellow Aviators, All of a sudden, since yesterday, my SD XL will not send straight forward Key Strokes / Combinations to the SIM. Everything works in terms of Commands and Device ID's, but simple key presses won't work Out of the Sim, the keystrokes are fine, tested some in NotePad++, things such as LCTRL + C, which in Sim, will close the Door/Canopy, and in NotePad++ if I highlight text and press the key, it does copy the selected text. It just does not work, with any keystrokes in Sim. I even tried to remap the Door command in Adjust Controls by using the SD button, but it did not register I have tried SD XL in both normal mode, and Admin, and it does not work in either mode in Sim All used to work, up until yesterday. Hi All, With the release of the Touch Portal profile from @Sierr4, which you can find here - https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3321763/ I was wondering whether any body has any ideas of the best of these buttons for the SD XL. Obviously we don't have enough buttons on the XL to do the whole thing, but if someone could mark off perhaps the top priority ones that would be the most useful Apologies for using you image as a reference Sierr4, but it is the closest I have got to something useful for my purposes Toni

Personally, I always run with Mirrors off, no point having them on, just adds to GPU load for nothing but immersion IMHO Toni

Made sure that all Keyboards in all screens/groups have the same content and format. This is with thanks to Jusif for pointing out the issues with showing an old keyboard pre-upgraded icon set 2. Finished and added to ‘START-UP ROUTINE PART #1’, ‘START-UP ROUTINE PART #2’ and ‘WEAPONS CONFIG’ a. ‘START-UP ROUTINE PART #1’ deals with DMS Config etc all on the right-hand MPD b. ‘START-UP ROUTINE PART #2’ deals with Engine Start routines and Post Start actions c. ‘WEAPONS CONFIG’ at this stage is for the configuration of the Chain Gun via the left-hand MPD 3. Corrected some errors with various button configurations 4. In some places you will see the button ‘123’. I have placed this in areas where I think the values to be entered from the Keyboard are likely to be numbers, such as radio frequencies etc. Again, this is only in trying to assist the user in the reduction of one extra button press on the StreamDeck itself -------------------------------------- I hope you enjoy it and it proves useful to those who choose to use it Toni Carrera
