Deactivate and uninstall DCS on your old install Install / upgrade windows Install DCS Activate. Reason is that DCS may detect a different version of windows as a hardware change and activate the copy protection.

why on earth would you want to use an FPS engine for a flightsim?!? A simulation should be more about...simulation... not eye candy. ...now collideable trees... thats the only thing thats missing

Wouldn't let me deactivate cos of the change either... So I just disabled the virtual card...Deactivated and re-activated with the card enabled.... They don't have that small number anymore since the patch. eh..

Hi, I've just installed Log-Me In Hamachi as I need it for some of my clients at work... Problem is, it installs a virtual Network card and now when I start up BS its telling me my serial is not valid anymore because of hardware changes. Do I just de-activate and re-activate? Whats the best way to do it, protect.exe?

Can mumble connect to TS servers?

Time for the annual re-install... Problem is thus: When I deactivated (via protect.exe) last time when I re-installed before the patch I got an additional code that I had to put in after my activation code Eg: On activation I would have to put the 2 codes in like this: Serial Number - Deactivation Code. But this time when I deactivate I don't get the deactivation key?!? It just says succesfully deactivated. Is this normal? I can just re-install? Im on 1.01a

I don't even give them datalink targets anymore. I just give the command to attack ground units and let him do his own thing...

It would be a fun little easter egg if your ejected pilot had the ability to shoot. Same ammo as the infantry so it shouldn't be too hard to implement.

This is why the next module after the A-10 should be the MI-24 ;)
