Yep.. again right now. Only 2 mig-21 on airfield. MP. MASSIVE FPS lag ONLY when to left or right of another Mig. Close. At about 2 jets width it seems fine. Also had a huge server crash when we fired missiles at a bomber formation... but that may be unrelated.

We've been experiencing this too since the latest 1.5.7 update. Before that it was fine. Huge drop to almost single digits when migs are right next to each other. But once one taxies just a bit further past its fine again. Very strange. Its almost like its got only got something to do with them being on each others left or right.

I too have been having this issue on and off. Mostly online as far as I can see... but that might be just because Ive mostly been playing multiplayer lately it seems that way. Kneeboard pages will change one mission, then not work the next. It does seem like the bug shows when you load into a second mission. No mods. I have tried a game repair.

Just for completion in this thread.. .when you toggle the visor now it indeed dims the screen. Once again ED hasnt listed that and the new kneeboard functionality on its changelog... Thanks Razbam, its the small things

I dont think its the smoke so much as the darkness/density of it. All (especially older) fighters will leave smoke trails in certain instances... but to me the F5E in game looks like it has an engine fire lol

Be sure to HOLD the uncage button while firing. Also as a side note.. I almost never use the radar for aim-9 kills.... you need to be close anyway.. so why let them know youre there...

My biggest visual gripes right now are the pilot being too small and the engine smoke seems excessive.. like, sure.. the F-5E is smokey.. but it looks like the damn thing has an engine fire lol yes, not everyone the same size etc blah blah yadda yadda. still... pilot looks to not be in proportion to me, admittedly only slightly.

...its picking up the sun... kinda the biggest heat source in the sky...

You can carry 4 x magics, I do it often. Unless something has changed in the patch now?

I think the biggest cheater here is ED's netcode and poor multiplayer functionality...
