More bunnyhopping and prone jumping yay

I enjoyed it. Even though most of the critics trashed it as "the worst film of the decade" but then again any fat slob can sit around and call it that. It was basically showing off the USAF / USN. But as Super said it had some epic action. All I need is Megan Fox and giant robots blowing each other up and I am find. Did anyone else think the twins were hilarious? Someone was complaining that they were racist but they made the movie much better. Also wasn't it suiting that Starscream is an F-22 Craptor? :D

Another weird thing is that I can only fire the cannon. Same goes for all of the planes. No I am not an idiot. The HUD designates that I have an AIM-9,ect and I am in the correct HUD mode and my trigger (Joystick) is binded to the fire key. Bah.

I changed a loadout during one of my missions so that I would have rockets and the cannon. No Vikhr's. My headphones were starting to hurt so I took them off and turned on my iPod and put it on shuffle. We were still a few minutes away from ingress when it started. By the time it finished we were around the corner when the second song came on. Wagners "Ride of the valkyrie". Perfect timing rofl. So I decided to screw the tactical approach and just came in screaming around the corner spamming rockets. We annihlated the entire town. No building was left. Mission complete after we destroyed the ground forces.

I was flying the prequel campaign and I think it was mission 7 or 8. The daytime strike in the mountains on the caches. We were egressing from the area and while pushing my slick to get up to the top I switch views to see where my wingman is. I go back to my original view, F4, but I forget that I am still watching him. All of the sudden I go back to my cockpit view and my helicopter literally explodes. I ran into a mountain or something :(

What is being released? :D

I started the night patrol mission and a few minutes later as we left the base and approached the first waypoint I spot a convoy of four or five vehicles on my three. My wingman spotted them and identified them as friendlies. The briefing said that all non-essential personnel are on curfew so I thought they were hostiles. I didn't listen obviously and I thought they were hostiles. I get into firing range and hover over the forest before taking out the convoy with my AP rounds and a few rockets. Well later I found out that I killed 19 friendlies. Sigh.

I have service pack 3 installed but I guess I will need to reinstall windows or at least get the .dll off of the install disk.

Can anyone help me on this? I can't even play :/ I did a registry clean and replaced the mscvrt.dll in the LOMAC folder but the problem still persists. The lockon.exe.local fix didn't work. I have tried everything...I have service pack 2 but is that a problem?

If they are going to do any slicks after the AH-64 they should do the Mi-24. Why? It's an icon. It's technically a gunship which makes it a great attack platform while it also has the ability to transport troops. So you could have a variety of missions and imagine doing strafing runs while inserting troops into an hot LZ.

Thought I would come and stop by. I bought DCS Black Shark today, after doing some prior research of course, but I will probably be using this thread for a while since I am a nugget :).

I just bought DCS today. I have done some research prior to buying but yeah I am still a nugget. I now appreciate the Ka-50 and I...dare say I love it. I can't wait for the A-10 / AH-64. But as for Black Shark life is great.

I am running Windows XP Service Pack 2. Does BS have the same problem? I have heard that SP2 causes some problems with LOMAC. I have a free copy of Vista somewhere in my office...

It didn't fix the problem.

So far I have only played offline. And its the msvcrt.dll that is causing the problem.

So I recently found out that I am now in the middle of DLL Hell. I tried the lockon.exe.local thing and I get an application error. It first happened when I installed Flaming Cliffs. I reinstalled the vanilla LOMAC and the problem persists. Now I can't even play :joystick: Anyone have any ideas?

Make DCS: Naval Operations. F-18's, MiG-29K's and an Su-33. You could add an F-14 with a AI RIO and multiplayer cooperative RIO :D

I get the same problem while in-flight. Usually after 5-10 minutes and I get a CTD. Does anyone have any ideas?

Can I use this with Lock On or do I need Flaming Cliffs?
