We have success :thumbup::):cheer3nc: The offending program for me: Fast Picture Viewer WIC Codec Pack 1.30 The programs offending feature: WIC-Enabled Truevision Targa (*.tga, *.tpic) image decoder. Because I do photo editing using Canon RAW files on this pc, I used this program to display .cr2 files in windows photo viewer. I tried the latest version of their software, I was on 1.30 so I tried 1.9, which gave me a mini DCS window in the middle of my desktop :D Hope this helps others. :thumbup:

Fresh install of windows and DCS works perfectly as expected. Will keep installing software that's on my normal install to see if/when it breaks..

Still not correct in the latest openbeta update.. First shot is after damaging the aircraft, which isn't hard for me to do. Second shot is at 5am, you can see the glass has some transparency.

User error, I missed the User Variables and only saw the System Variables.

Hello, It seems DCS is ignoring the TEMP and TMP folders as set in Windows Environment Variables. I have those 2 folders as F:\TEMP and F:\TMP. DCS is using C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Temp\

If something works in one version, and not in the other then why wouldn't it be a bug? I'm not saying it's an easy fix seeing as it affects so few of the open beta users. Like I said I'll try anything the ED team suggest. This is the modelviewer included with 1.2.6 vs the one included with 1.5.1.

The modelviewer standaolne version 106539. Modelviewer included with 1.5.1 is the same. Where could I find the Huey cockpit edm? Edit: found it

Absolutely nothing is off limits as to what I'll try in troubleshooting this if one of the developers suggests it, just fire away.

I haven't reinstalled the drivers yet because to me it seems there's a flaw within the 1.5 beta so I'd rather try to find the definite cause of it. The Huey glass was fine in the last patch, DCS 1.2 doesn't have any problems, so something has changed.

I tried all that, still the same effect :cry: There's something very strange with my 1.5 install though. Look at the A-10C HUD & MFD for example...
