http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2548138&postcount=8 Looks like 1.5 really doesn't want to load/display .tga files for a few of us. But this file was fine in the last patch as a .dds.
-
Thanks, I deleted the .zip, ran a repair. Still the same. So it looks like 1.5 has a problem displaying .tga files for some people if this file was indeed a .dds in the last patch.
-
Unfortunately that makes no difference. There's another issue that me and a handful of others are having with 1.5 relating to graphics so hopefully this is related to that and we can get a fix.

English - UK for me.

I won't have tried every combination but I have spent a lot of time going through the CCC options and trying different things. I've tried other things within CCC, such as the options for GPU upscaling on/off and Virtual Super Resolution on/off Here's a screen of what we have to play with on the CCC panel.

Tried a uninstall, no difference. The UH1_glass_refl.tga looks ok when I open in photoshop. If the tga isn't found then why no Missing Texture?
-
2nd poster in this thread said they had an Nvidia card. I can set AA to use application settings in Catalyst Control Centre, turn off AA within DCS and the boxes are still a solid green colour. The only filter I can see within CCC is "Standard" or "Edge Detect", is this what you mean?

No compliments from me! Sorry! See this thread.

I was using Ultra distance setting, I just tried every one from Low to Extreme and there's no difference. This wasn't present in the last update and from what I see BST changed some values for the colour of the window. Long shot but maybe those changes are related to the issue of characters being drawn as a box? here
-
Nope, no mods what so ever.
-
Similar to these? Also is anyone else having an issue with the front windows of the Huey being opaque? Like this

Shame I can only do VFR on a good day :D

Using latest update, tried a repair. Rename dcs.txt to dcs.log, couldn't attach a .log DxDiag.txt dcs.txt

Interestingly the Mi-8 has lost it's mirror texture. Edit: No it hasn't. Changed cockpit language from Chinese -> Default, the mirror was there. Then changed back from Default -> Chinese and the mirror was there.

Not fixed in 1.5.1.46722.87

That's what I'm thinking....but which way around? So much choice

Realised I'd not tried the Ka-50, 2nd screenshot is with the HUD brightness one click up from being off.
-
Only thing I use is DisplayFusion on a triple monitor setup, but disabling the software or the other 2 monitors makes no difference. Here's a video I rendered of a track I borrowed from another thread here. 0CTeZSY0R1M

I noticed in the Huey the radar altitude display is being drawn normally. What's the difference in the way it's displayed compared to everything else?

Can't wait to pick this up!

I did delete the fui/fonts folder, repaired and installed the actual fonts. Even tried copying over the files from 1.2.16 into fui/fonts and dxgui/skin/fonts to run on 1.5 but this made no difference so I think that it's not file corruption within 1.5, I deleted these files and ran a repair to return 1.5 to default after doing this. Like X-man said this issue isn't present in 1.2.16 it's only since 1.5 I've started to experience it. Got another few things I'll try tonight to see if they make any difference.

Still present in hotfix 3.

Thanks! I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it, seeing as the FUI\fonts folder only contains tga images, the actual fonts are in dxgui\skins\fonts. I did notice if i comment out the /FUI/Fonts/ line, this error shows in the log "00008.117 INFO DXGUI: Cannot load font [C:\Windows\Fonts\]!" And this then changes how the box gets displayed in the Su-27 (but not A-10C), see attached. The solid boxes are from a normal install, the artefact boxes are from with this line commented out.

I noticed in the log it says; 00008.118 INFO DXGUI: Cannot load font [E:\Games\DCS World OpenBeta\dxgui\skins\fonts\]!
