Am I the only one who has to select the oculus rift as the default audio output before entering DCS?

I'm having a similar problem but the screen doesn't go black, just the game window doesn't return after pressing 'ok' from the VR tab of the settings. I'm left standing next to an Su-27 and have to ctrl+alt+del and end task.

Why bother with IPD now? I just moved the slider on the cv1 rift until it looked the best to my eyes.

You can use the oculus wireless controller.. I've not touched the xbrick controller yet.

Screenshots should explain themselves, surely this isn't the skin for Ft. Rucker? These textures are the same in all versions, including release 1.5.3.53279 I ran a repair but it's the same still.

I'm running 3 monitors, 1x 1680x1050 and x2 1920x1080 So the FPS info text is missing the actual FPS, because it's been drawn to 1080 high and the monitor is 1050! Can I move it down 50px or so?

After several crashes due to me being a ham-fisted ape on the cyclic, I took the time and learned to fly with all the default settings. To me it seems more like it would be in RL for this type of helicopter, with using just 2 or 3 fingers on top of the cyclic to control the movement. I use a Warthog with the spring mod.

I really hope Polychop are successful with their efforts in trying to make this happen. I caved in and bought the Sim Skunk Works Tornado for FSX. Makes me so happy bombing around the British countryside with the terrain following radar keeping the aircraft at 200ft :D Just think how good it'd be in DCS :shocking::thumbup:

DCS does seem to prefer using my last CPU core, roughly the same as your 70-80% I can't see the difference, for example...between having 4 cores at 20% or one core at 80%? My 7950 is being used to its maximum, both in GPU load and memory usage, and it's a huge leap in performance compared to the old engine. Back ontopic, I pre ordered a rift, can't wait :thumbup: Have to wait until May though.

Is that in Nevada? I'm seeing more like 10-12% CPU usage and 60-100% GPU..

Mine should be coming in May, hopefully earlier. Can't wait :D The price seems par for the course when you're talking high end PC components. I'll be needing one of the new graphics cards to power it properly, which will be costing probably around the same as the rift I'd imagine.

Not sure if this has been brought up before, but I found the same issue running the release version of 1.5.2 and with the Caucasus map. Try it with this railway bridge in Beslan. Even after landing the Huey under it, the helicopter was pushed along. With collective at 0%.

Does the same thing happen without any payload?
