** User files donwload file has been updated . Delete old version and install new ! ** With the Apache on its way and the Chinook mod available , it's time to have a carrier for them both NAM Atlântico (A140) ex- HMS Ocean (L12). Two models will be provided , one for the Ocean and its fittings and one for the Atlantico . Currently trying to finish animations and lighting as well as clean up some of the texturing ! Hey dont worry Making the Valiant is abit tricky cause of time constraints. Already I am behind on the work on the Vulcan which I trying to finish so it can be flyable. Sadly work is putting this back more than I want. On release the Vulcan will be a SFM with some modifications obviously to make it match as much as possible to a bomber's flight model . An EFM could be in the works and is deifinitely something i would love to do but will only start work on that once the model is ready . -

Quick update to the file - Have now added the Victor Bomber as Static (For now) object in its cheesy desert camo ! I remember them in the first Gulf war constantly looking awful in that color haha Just replace the file in the mods folder ! https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3318386/ -

Download the mod here : https://dropfiles.org/u6E8nrLd You can place it in your saved Mod\Aircraft folder as all mods. In game you will find it in the mission editor under Static Objects -> Aircraft and Deck Equipment category -

Static Avro Vulcan is now available in the user files section under mods. I have uploaded as a static object one of the models I was working on so it can be used as a "prop" in your missions while i continue working on the flyable version. Download and add as any mod. In mission editor you will find it under static objects - Structures. -

Hi , that is definitely a bug ... not sure how it is even possible but there you go .... Still working on the animations which is the hardest part ... can't give you a date im afraid but am working towards a 2-3 month release if there are no hickups -
There appears to be no visual effect of the engines working or on afterburner - Full throttle and nothing showing

Yes , I could make available a basic AI and static model soon. I have a couple of low-poly models that I made during the time i was trying to build it that will do these jobs fine. I've been watching a few videos on startup procedures to see if I can somehow implement a realistic startup as i have found really good source sounds for the APU and more. Currently I am testing out the model with the basic F15 HUD until the gauge animations are in place however I am planning on releasing it without any HUD . How does that sound to you all ? Would you prefer a proper old school cockpit or should I add the hud also for game;s sake ? -

Cockpit and External flight model overlap

I've been making alot of cockpits lately and wanted to implement them into a new mod I am making however when I do , within DCS i get the external and cockpit edm's overlapping . If I add my cockpit edm to an already existing mode , usually the place where the ckcpit is , is blank and so it fits in without seeing the surrounding external model however when i try in my external model overlaps in the cockpit as well .... How do I keep the external model appearing complete when viewed from the outside and when viewing from cockpit only be able to see what is added in the cockpit edm ?

Hi , If the mod of the meril dissappears yet the carrier remains then it is deffinitely a problem with the westland mod. There is an issue (Which i i have also come across with some mods i have made) where this happens and a certain angles the models vanish and reappear. You will need to tell the original mod creator to look into it. If it were an issue with the carrier it would also affect the carrier itself. Nevertheless I am revamping the both illustrious and Invincible as we speak adding a damage model and maybe manage to get the seadart to work . Yeah , This is an issue with the takeoffs that has been going on for some time on all carrier mods that use the ski jump. At some point if was fixed but then after an update it went bad again.The Tarawa doesnt have a skki jump so possible that is why it works differently. The positioning of the harriers on deck is an issue with the mod and i am addessing as i need ti update the luas that govern placement and landing/takeoffs ! I'm updating all 3 carriers so will hopefully have it sorted as much as possible

Cyprus appears to have the exact same ground texture as the rest of the region (Syria , Israel etc) however as an island it is alot Greener. Would it be possible to amend Cyprus to a more greener ground texture state ? Thanks

fixed internally Paphos hardened bunkers collision mesh fault

At Paphos airport , the hardended bunker entrances have issues with their collision meshes. PRK spot 36 : has hollow ground at entrance causing aircraft to fall through scenery PRK spot 34 : Has some sort of collision mesh issue with the rails and colides with aircraft wheels upon exit damaging aircraft -

Hey all , Just playing around with an idea and was wondering if there is any type of script where an action within a mission can will trigger a windows process to run which is no relevant to DCS . A simple example would be when a unit is destroyed a batch file is run . Thank you !
