  1. Yeah, can confirm it happens to me as well. It's beyond annoying. Shame. Can't really fly a helo without pedal trim imo. So back to the shadowrealm the Gazelle goes. Again.
  2. Well they saw that it was marked as "fixed", even though it wasn't for me, said "sorry uWu" and that was that. Anyway I fixed the issue myself by uninstalling and reinstalling the MiG-21 module itself. Now I see Battle of Krasnodar. So... thanks
  3. Still not working. Did a cleanup, a fast repair, a slow repair. Uninstalled Constant Peg; still no Battle of Krasnodar. Now the module manager is telling me I didn't buy Battle of Krasnodar and when I click the Buy button it tells me it's bought... It also tells me I bought Constant Peg, which I didn't, it lets me install it, but it still doesn't appear in the Campaign List. So, in effect, no change whatsoever after doing the cleanup and repair... I also have no option to reinstall Battle of Krasnodar in the module manager pop-up and I can't find the line in the log you pasted in my own logs: 2021-10-20 18:47:48.276 WARNING NET: Ignoring duplicate request to imageBUNYAP_CAMPAIGNS_MIG21_CONSTANT_PEG_campaign while one is already in flight. I suppose that's from your logs?
  4. I believe so. Showing for you where? As a playable campaign? Didn't see the screenshot. Even so, I want Battle of Krasnodar not Constant Peg. I'll find the logs.
  5. Bought Battle of Krasnodar Installed Battle of Krasnodar, not Constant Peg and yet... Paid for air. Neither of them appear. In the module manager pop-up, even though I had only bought Battle of Krasnodar, it and Constant Peg both appeared as ready to be installed. I only installed Battle of Krasnodar and restarted DCS. Where's my campaign?
  6. Could I be CC'd on that, please?
  7. I confirm this. Neither clicking nor binding works... I can't use bombs and rockets now...
  8. Same thing here
  9. I think the F-5s on most missions have their waypoints set up from the start and one of them is usually the bullseye so you could check the kneeboard and use the mark position hack with RCtrl+K. Or just do it oldschool and set your heading from your starting position, use the clock for your flight time, set your speed and navigate by eye. You could also try using the different map modes in the F10 view to match yp what you're seeing out the window with the map. The SAT view is helpful like that. Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk
  10. A commendable effort on all sides today in the Hold The Line mission. Even though the Reds won the day, the Blues were fierce and Reds got a really bloody nose. Good job everyone. Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk
  11. The simple truth of the matter is that this is a free game, this is a free server, and the A-4 is a free module. And the sad reality is that everything public is almost always eventually pissed on. I would have loved to see the A-4 on here as evident from my previous posts. The circumstances in which we operate however means that it will be more of a hassle than a benefit. Sent from my Lenovo YT-X705F using Tapatalk
  12. You are correct. I wrote a long reply about how this was pandering to the lowest common denominator but if the server is to be better it must be kept public. If it is public people can decide if they like it and stay. If not, honestly, all the better. I only wish that the processes to improve upon it and update it weren't so (typically DCS) convoluted that we shy away from any meaningful change unless it's easily implemented and universally understood. We all know this is the best PvP server. It's a shame change is slow. Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk
  13. If you are correct and half the people playing don't care to preserve the intended gameplay and the slots are so limited then why would we make concessions for them? Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk Edited: I'm talking outside the context of the A-4. That matter is settled.
  14. I understand your rationale. I disagree for many reasons I honestly can't be bothered to type now that Alpenwolf has made his decision but I understand. We'll just have to wait for the Mirage F1 or the MiG-23, I suppose. Sent from my Lenovo YT-X705F using Tapatalk
  15. Also also we could even stretch your train of thought and argue that people that don't regularly update their open beta version face the same issue. And to take it to the absurd if you say "people that don't update their X can't play" we should all stop joining because some people are still on stable and can't join... And we have to think of those people. That can't move to open beta, that can't use SRS, that can't update SRS, that can't read briefings. But we don't. Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk
  16. Also players who don't regularly update SRS face the exact same issues. How ia that logistically different? Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk
  17. 1. Yes on a trial basis of course at first. 2 Why should we rob ourselves of an experience because people don't read the briefing in a study sim? Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk If the point of the server is to focus on MIGs vs F-5s why are there Tomcats chasing Frogfoots? Why even have any sort of air to air missile for the Viggen if it historically was intended as a ground attacker? Why even have logi helos? None of those are required for the server to maintain an endless stream of furballs. But we don't all join this server to dogfight F-5s Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk
  18. And people that don't have it and don't like seeing an Su-27 could be directed to download the mod just as they are directed to download SRS. Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk
  19. Well yes but that'd just happen for people that don't have the mod installed. The mission would still run. Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk
  20. Alpen, to my eyes, this looks really easy to implement.
  21. There has been. As a free mod, the answer was no. As a paid module, most definitely. I'm paraphrasing an earlier post by Alpenwolf. Search for a4 or A-4 or A-4E-C in this forum and you'll find the post I'm referring to. Sent from my Lenovo YT-X705F using Tapatalk
  22. On the mission with the 6 FARPS neither of them could be tuned into. Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk
  23. I've read somewhere that some sounds need to be added for them to work? Either for the FARP ARKs or for the Mi8 CTLD beacons, I forget which. Also I do love dropping beacons in the Mi8. It's a damn pity. I enjoy navigating. It's why I fell in love with the 21. You can literally go anywhere without opening F10 once on Caucasus. Or doing the mark knee board hack Sent from my Lenovo YT-X705F using Tapatalk
  24. Yes, and they should have working ARK frequencies so we can tune in to find it when coming home.
