X52 help - having trouble mapping throttle
Atomic978 replied to WIpump's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Also I think with the profile you are using the slider is used for extend and retract on the brakes. If that is the case having the slider all the at forward or all the way back will not let any of the other buttons work in the profile. Because when the slider is off center it is like a solid keypress so you need to make sure you put it back to center in order to stop the keypress. -

When in game options the same place you just changed the controller axis at. On the left box where it says A10 Sim, Just click on that and change it to A10 game, Then reassign the axis as you did. -
X52 help - having trouble mapping throttle
Atomic978 replied to WIpump's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Well i have the x52 regular as well. What you need to do is go to the game options then on the top left box choose a10 sim then in the box next to that you need to pull the drop down tab to axis. Then scroll down to throttle under x52 click the box for throttle all. Then Move the throttle on your stick. Also make sure your slider is centered if you already have profile loaded. You might want to wait on activating profile until you get your axis assigned. Hope this helps. -
I've sent a couple pm but no response yet. Let me know.

Pm me if you are interested in a saitek x45. If you want parts as the pots are shot in it but all the buttons work. I have in it's original box lol. I will let you have it free but you will have to pay for shipping.

I still use my regular x52 non pro and enjoy it allot. Never had any issues with it. If you have A good profile it works really well. I fly allot of sims and have for a long time. I got the saitek pro pedals as well so maybe that is why I have not had any issues because I don't use the twist in the stick. I am currently in no position to upgrade to a warthog so this works good for me. I have had my x52 for about 3 years and it still feels like new to me. So I have had nothing but a positive experience. I know others have not but for me it has already been a value for terms of life span of use vs cost. Good luck and hope it all goes well. If you need a profile once you get it let me know and I can let you try mine.

any of you guys try ssm 2007. allot of videos on youtube. I got it when it came out. It supports TrackIR and its not to bad.

Oh and you get the motion sickness allot they got pills for that you can pic up with out a prescription. Take an over-the-counter antihistamine, such as meclizine (Bonine), or one containing dimenhydrinate (Dramamine) Or just eat bananas. They taste the same on the way back up. Lol

That's a good plane to fly there. I flew a cirrus sr22 g3 turbo for about 4 hours. They are great planes and easy to fly with the glass pit and the trim on the stick is nice compared to a wheel like in a Cessna. Now that you got the first one out of the way you should be fine. I am still in process of getting my PL. Good luck.

A producer note 3 CDU. Then producer note 4 TGP/TAD. Then at last producer note 5 mission editor. Making simple to more advance missions. Triggers and flags as I am just getting started with it and would like to learn simple ways to create missions. I think I learn better from videos then reading. Thanks

Well I use to never use it say mid day as my house has allot of light coming into it and could not really find a spot where it did not mess with the system. Since I got the track clip I was able to turn off the camera LEDs and crank up the light filtering enough so when I use it during the day time now I have no issues.

That's a good idea. But I was having light issues with my set up. The track clip pro took care of this for me as I was then able to turn up the light filtering higher then I could and get great tracking.

Hmmm. I have had mine for about 6 months with no problems. I just wish it was wireless.

oh yeah I know. But would be cool if we had navada and red flag exercises
-
This was a good one. I think some redflag would be fun if we could have one of these.

But when the community complained they ported it over for us to have one. But in the link above there is a new video of gameplay that was released today. Hope you enjoy.

Well Crytek just posted that Hans Zimmer wrote the intro music and conducted it for crysis 2. If anybody wants to hear it here is a link. Take care.

just realized viper said this already. sorry.

Did you make sure to assign the rudders to the aircraft you are using. If i recall you need to assign all the axis in sim for each plane.

My wife has a barns and noble nook. It reads well with PDF files. The font is adjustable and you really feel like you are reading paper.

I guess it might help if I put a price next to this. I would be willing to sell this ram for $75.00USD. It worth $100.00USD.
