  1. That's good news - thanks for letting us know!
  2. Sarcasm/joke. Original promised shipping date was May 20th.
  3. I've got a bridge you definitely want to buy. Just be patient. Blast from the past (July 26th) "We are very pleased to confirm that a large batch of pre-order stock has been prepared and scheduled for dispatch next week. After this batch the total number of pre-order dispatches completed to date will be around the following: VPC WarBRD Base: 70-80% VPC Constellation Delta Grip: 70-80% VPC MongoosT-50 Throttle: 40-50%" 2 confirmed throttles shipped, but according to a youtuber who received it "it's been arranged" in December. So there is approx. 2 left to be shipped "next week" We all have been through this, right?
  4. Nothing. 3+ months delay.
  5. I was told on Discord by Virpil rep that throttles will be shipping next week.
  6. Neither, likely. Some force sensing stuff. In the sim, it makes very little difference, except in Viggen where you can use it to guide one of the missiles, which are super hard to guide either way. It's not necessary, 4-way hat has very similar functionality.
  7. They have a good product (I assume that throttle is good based on the stick/gimbal I have), but they are still very slowly learning how to handle sales business. Unfortunately they are not anywhere close to average level of service expected in a market where companies like Logitech, Thrustmasters and shops like Amazon with their super efficient customer and sales service are the norm. I treat this as a sort of experimental startup I gamble with. I know I should get high quality almost hand made product, but I don't know when and I'll have to chase them around to know what's going on. Otherwise, I'd really suggest to never pre-order or buy anything which isn't in stock . They have next to zero competition at the moment so the pressure has to come from us, the customers being vocal. I'd strongly suggest to Vripil to not to charge people for items which weren't shipped. If there is assembly time required state it clearly that it's "assembly time" not ambiguous "processing". Frequent updates via e-mail after order was placed are very important. If item is handmade on order and there is no stock kept this needs to be very clearly stated too - if you require a deposit to start assembly, be transparent about it. You will be seen as a boutique shop making handmade items on order instead a company who may or may not be trusted.
  8. I hope so, could you please let us know when you do?
  9. I was told on discord that "If your pre-order didn't include the MT-50 Throttle, you should have your tracking number this week. If it does include the MT-50 Throttle, it will be next week!" Keep in mind that I asked about specific order which was made on first day of pre-orders in April
  10. Looks good, hope they don't make it metal but high quality plastic
  11. Hi, Can you please recommend a good quality powered 7-8 port USB 3.0 hub? Would be great if it had master switch to disable all devices connected at once. I am in the EU btw. Thanks a lot!
  12. That's a terrifying picture, looks like borg army! And yeah, existence confirmed
  13. Great news! Thanks again - looks like things are getting sorted out. You guys got some harsh critique from us in last couple of weeks, but I can speak for myself, it wasn't anything personal. (I am still a little pissed off tho :megalol:) PS. I really appreciate direct comms like this, (Cypher answered me on Discord directly) - it's by no means an expectation though - I can imagine it can generate a lot of work, so thanks again for this.
  14. :D Of course, just kidding. (as long as your spot is not before mine ;) )
  15. @VirpilControls/Cypher - this guy likes to wait, there is a lot of people who don't, can you please move him to the end of the queue? :megalol:
  16. Thanks for the effort GriffonBR. Yeah, same old. We will see next week. I've placed my order the hour they have opened orders, I'll report back as soon as anything moves. Not keeping my hopes up tho.
  17. Oh a white knight, hello. My Amazon orders always arrive on time, if they don't I get my money back, thanks for your concern tho. Even if they wouldn't I'd not expect you to do anything about it, based on how submissive you are sounding. Thanks again for chipping in and raising awareness of this screw up - this is the reason I post about it.
  18. Raising the concern is good and totally understandable IMO. Now, where is my tracking number damn it? :)
  19. These are all fully paid orders made mid April. Original date of shipping was aimed at (sorry can't resist) sometime shortly after 20 May. Maybe. ;) All "updates" so far were mainly announcements of further delays + excuses/PR. The delay we are enjoying now is a silent one, 2+ weeks of no concrete information, except of course "aiming" and consistently missing. They said items should be "in hand of a courier" on 16th of July.
  20. Of course I predicted all if it, including silent delay we are having now, even made a post about it on other forum where I got down-voted to oblivion :megalol: Thing is I like the gamble and I really liked the idea - and was willing and still want to give benefit of the doubt. Happy to help with the change, so to speak. I have T-50 which is really good product, only took about 2 months to arrive ;) By the way, you forgot about "boasting" about everything  Let's see what happens next!
  21. No, they don't have a product. If they would they would ship it. They've snt a couple of samples to youtubers to generate more pre-orders (this is going to backfire, badly, though) Seriously, what sort of communication do you expect besides tracking number/shipping confirmation? Nothing else is relevant or needed at this point. Do you want to read more excuses and have another 2 months delay confirmed? Because this is what is going to happen if there is any communication besides an email in your inbox from a courier.
  22. You've got a good point here :megalol: p.s I pre-ordered, but money is not a factor at all in my case - they offer no questions asked refunds too.
  23. They aren't Russian, they are Belorussian. As much as I am pissed off with this situation, I'd not generalise based on where they are from. They screwed up, we don't know why, usual suspect in situation like that is lack of accounting liquidity and bad logistics or last minute design changes but in this particular case we don't know. I am going to wait for a month and refund it. Certainly not going to buy from them direct, except if they rebuild their credibility, which in my eyes, they've lost. They do need to start working on their comms and stop lying - false promises are read as lies in many parts of the world, since they operate in global market their comms must reflect this. p.s. I worked with eastern european companies for decades, there are differences and they can be a bit of lose cannons, but the same is true for any other startup out there, no matter where they are located.
  24. My guess is that assembly time is the least of the problem they have
  25. I'd be very positively surprised if people who ordered during last month or so would get anything before September. TBH, I am starting to think people who ordered in April (like I did) won't get anything before September. If they had a product to ship, they would. They aren't shipping anything. They are still "aiming", LOL (btw I got email from support a couple of days ago that they were "aiming at July". Looks like their aim isn't very good as now they aiming at "few weeks").
