Hi there, Just congratulations to this amazing addon, its just amazing flying a big helicopter in DCS this way. Can't wait for the planned features and the English manual. No I just want to complain about the FPS performance of the external model. First I had bad fps in cockpit and out but after a full DCS reinstall its turned back to normal except when looking at the outside model or even worse seeing some other players fly the Mi8 near me. Is this a know issue and will this be fixed? My PC spec are not that bad in my opinion.

I'll like this helicopter allot. Nice details and great sounds. Sad that my FPS dropt to about 15 to 20 :'(

I have a serious FPS hit with the Mi8. Or is it the 1.2.6 I don't know, didn't test any other module. But I think its the Mi8 because if I have some AI Mi8s flying around and I look in there direction then the FPS make a pretty hard drop. I have a ATI HD5970 OC to 4Ghz and I7 -920 OC 4Ghz and 12 Gb of DDR3 Ram 1600Mhz.

I would think that the first picture is from a museum. In most aircraft museums they take out the engines so that would explain the difference in weight on the front part of the aircraft.

I must say the Huey needs some training in the beginning. But now I'm comfortable with the Huey. Just keep your approach path shallow and low.

I did find it, stupid me. I added the modifier to the switches side instead of the modifier side. Jorik

I just got a HOTAS Warthog, so I'm still exploring the capabilities of this amazing setup, especially when you know I come from a saitek X45 :D . Now did I run in to a very small "problem". In DCS I assign the Paddle switch (S4) as modifier and assigned Paddle+POV as Trim and Paddle+TMS up/down for zoom. The strange thing is that I just need to press the paddle once and it stays On until I press it again, is this normal? What I would like is to hold the paddle and use the button and when I release the paddle it would go off and the buttons have there normal action again. Does somebody have a idea how to set this up?
