Hey all, When planning missions on a MP map, I can hover over a location (river junction - or whatever) and get the coords and plan a flight plan that way. I can also get altitude info for a target (if visible) but how do I convert that height info into QFE for targeting? Also, if the units are not visible and I cannot get height info for that target, how does one go about getting QFE data into the jet? In SP - set up a flight plan on the map before T/O - in MP, this is not possible. Will this not limit the available stores for a MP flight?

Too bad indeed. I recently bought the Normandy map thinking it came with the assets pack, but I didn't see the Normandy map + assets pack bundle. If I were to write a ticket, I'm guessing my response would be - TOO BAD!!

Essential reading!! Thanks Chuck. In the "Controls Setup - What you need mapped" diagram (p6) it looks as though there are a couple of functions cropped on the right hand side. There are arrows but no annotation.

Just a quick one about the size of the I've got a 250 GB SSD as my main drive so as you can imagine, space is a premium. I have DCSW 1.5.6 installed as well as DCSW 2 open alpha. DCSW 2 is ~60GB of hard drive space whereas 1.5.6 is around 45GB. I have most of the modules bar a couple of trainers and the Viggen. Are these folder sizes correct? Seems a lot of space! Have I got legacy update files I can get rid of to shrink the size of the folder? Thanks :-)

I'm getting a message saying that the file format is not supported when I try and look at multiplayer flights. After looking at the file size, the files are about 1kb. This is happening for every flight in MP. Why would this be? How can I get flights exported so I can view them in TacView? I had no mods installed at the time. All mods deactivated by JSGME. TIA

Anyone got decent touch and go's down yet? On two wheels?

Thanks guys, I managed it in the end. Sarge, I had the same problem for the brakes, but that wasn't the issue for the guns. I got it all working in the end :-) Now to give the thing a blast :-)

I can't seem to map functions to my Warthog. I want to use the paddle switch for brakes but it won't map. I also want to map the machine guns to the first trigger detent and the cannons to the second but I can't. Also, the engine RPM won't map to the throttle slider. Anyone know why this is?

Right click the application icon and select run as administrator. I had this problem. You can make this change permanent in the application icon's properties.
