  1. Wait for the PC version! Will be more responsive and definitely will work above 30 Hz . Requirements deffer on PC than console. I know will include efferent Hardware. How do you conclude that it is laggish. Have you seen the configuration settings this man uses? In TIR5 you improve smoothness at the cost of responsiveness also. I mean, no big mouth, just wait to see.
  2. Of course there are people like you my friend .... I only blame our selves that we tollerate our goverments to duel like small children, and spend our money for extrodinary armoury that we don't need. This thing really retard us. I hope someday we 'll find a way using ourway ! :)
  3. Yes this is true also for Greeks when they visit Turkey, people there treat the Greek visitors in a more special good way that other visitors in general. I just thinking if this friendship we mutually share is totally true, or pretended, and I say it for both of us. You know the history has left blood stains in both sides of Aegean ... something people not forget or forgive easy ... this is also goes to both sides. Apart all these above, there is only one good medicine we could benefit. This is true mutual respect, trading, and economical growth. This level of cooperation will eventually erase bad memories. Don't you really think that this everlasting competition/confrontation has already retarded both of us enough? I mean we could have been twice more integrated and stronger as we are today?
  4. FALCON family, and it is almost provocatively missing from the list ! Eight replies, and no one mentions it. No offense but, a little respect to the pioneer wouldn't harm ! :(
  5. This poll is totally wrong. There is no matter of preference ! It's a matter of using the right method on the right situation with the right weapon. :smartass: We better analyze the methods and their usage !

    ArmA III

The enviroment and house architecture is perfectly represented. Only objection is that the modern houses (not the traditionally styled), look rather faded and aged. But Yes I can live with it ! :)
  7. Game port to usb adaper ? http://www.amazon.com/Manhattan-Usb-Game-Port-Adapter/dp/B0009PXKZ8
  8. Following the above post, I have managed to solve the problems using the following methods Finally: Converting all compo Key presses eg Ctrl+Home to Advanced Command micros inside my X52 profile And Last resort By changing affected functions inside DCS controller page that use key combos, to simple key presses using free keys that simulation does not use. For example I reassigned Ctrl+Home to I key That way I am back alive.
  9. Exactly the same happens to me with my X52 profile. Everything used to work ok at 1.1.0.8, but not at 1.1.0.9. The profile behaves ok at controller key assigment page inside DCS 1.1.0.9. Inside simulation seems to ignore LCTL LSHF etc. Example 1: I use X52's slider configured with Bands and macro key presses to simulate Boat Switch. So when I RALT+Right (Boat SW Fwd) the sim ignores RALT and inputs only Right (Fly: Roll Right). The outcome of this is uncontrolled rolling behaviour. Example 2: I use X52'S T1/2/3/4 to simulate Engine start/stop (RControl/RAlt) + (Home/End). It ends up inputing Home/End Troobleshoot effort: I created a new clean test profile, nojoy. I clean installed Saitek drivers/software nojoy. I tested both in Saitek 6.6.6.9 and 7.0.2.7 software, nojoy again. It is strange that Controller key assigment page inside DCS recognizes key strokes properly, but not inside simulation. And Yes, I do have a clean Full 1.1.0.9 installation
  10. Hope you all enjoy, F16 by Night Landing TakeOff HAF F-4E AUP F16 52+ Terrain Follow + Popup @ 4:40
  11. Straigt and forward! Jonathan Post needs a psychiatrist ! I will never accept to become a part of a machine, of someone’s silly Frankenstein invention! This think will never pass health and moral qualifications, for obvious reasons of course ! Stop offer importance to this bullshit !
  12. Unfortunately this is a pure Georgian propaganda my friend ! So pure, that it does not allow me to enjoy Su-25s and HINDs. I like to see thinks more realistic in life ! There is no totally Good or Bad guys.
  13. Power5 you have a point. But I think is a matter of priority in a flight simulator, you have to simulate the A/C then enviroment. On the other hand I agree with you all, proper 3D and detailed enviroment adds to immersion, it makes you feal the space/distance arround you, and that is important in a flight sim also ! @PeterP
  14. Nevada is ongoing by ED, and some other community effort as well about Afghanistan. As for the next module ED judges it's too early to announce. ED let free for us to know, that it will be a US fixed Wing Fighter. Now, My clear speculation is that A10C avionics are closer to the F16C ones, subtracting the development needed for AA/AG Radar and flight modelling of F16 by ED. As I said, it's clearly my assumption here. Surely I would not bother if it will be an F18C or what ever else ED's military contracts dictate. I also like the frameless canopy FOV of the F16 that is an advantage in the PC monitor world, I mean the A10 frame nearly irritates me! Makes me feal like a horse with blinkers. :)
  15. Actually my passion goes more on the DCS F16, but yes I belive graphics will improve in the near future. :)
  16. Now, that's what i dream on DCS ! or this one.
  17. You have a point, and unfortunately yes ! :(
  18. Yap Law, corrected. Mower, it may not obvious but intended to attack gambling. Rational or not, it has succeeded finally. There are a lot of people all over the word that must be protected by their gambling addiction. Now the main side effect was the disapearance of coin-op "technical" games also, but not a big deal since everyone owns a PC/Console/Mame etc.
  19. Yes EtherealIN, It was 10 Years ago. :) That law caused misunderstandings due to bad experiance of computer games to the authorities and people. The law intended to restrict pure "Lucky" Games on coin-op Slot machines, not lucky games on free machines, and not technical games (e.g. Ghost and Goblins) on free or coin-op slot machines. The restriction applied only at public areas, like cafe etc. For private use there was no restriction, you were able to own a slot machine with a lucky games installed at home. I remember after law appliance, cafe had lucky games for free to the enjoyment of customers. Nowadays the coin-op slot machines have completely vanquished. You may find them only at Casino.
