  1. I have no idea what you just said. :joystick:
  2. The Apache makes up for speed with its deadly accuracy and payload I believe. What maneuver causes the rotor to contact the tail? Would that just be a lot of negative G? Shame of the BS is that turning to hard causes rotor crash. I would expect you can pull as hard on the stick as you want in positive G maneuvers in the Apache.
  3. This sounds really sweet. I would love the buttons to change light when I press. I always catch myself looking down to see the autopilot buttons and the weapons buttons to check if I have them engaged or not. I read the thread but am having a hell of a time following. Hehe, I installed the one from morg using modman, or I thought I did. Probably did nothing obviously. Anyone got a more step by step guide maybe?
  4. I did not touch the pedals and I noticed that with steady stable rudder settings it will not stop increasing rudder. So if my feet are say 20% left rudder, that will compound while I have the trim button held. So, its like its constantly trimming if that makes sense. I will try the 20% thing and see what that does. Yup, still does the same thing. Do you not get the same reaction while holding a fixed rudder position and the trimmer?
  5. I just realized you can actually type even though it is grey. Just click in the box and you can type.
  6. ok, that worked using the simulator link. New problem. Before this I had used the ingame mapping. Everything worked fine. Trimmer worked and when I released it would sort of stay like it should. Now I get no feeling and the trimmer does not work at all. Not the keyboard and not the button on the stick I set.
  7. Dont follow you entirely. So, I need to change the path in the profiler for BS, and then inside Modman, do the same? What is the correct root path? Is it in the bin/x86/stable folder? is it simulator or launcher?
  8. What am I doing wrong? I tried following the first post completely. Cleared out all the BS settings in game and setup my logitech profile. None of the commands work in game. Am I starting the game wrong? Can I not launch through modman?
  9. If we are talking single seat, many of the wish list items are out. F14 2 seat (would die for this though) F18 2 seat models and single seat (I think its hideous though) Tornado 2 seat (Love the look) Flankers have 2 and 1 seat options I would love a eurofighter or something like it. Tornado would be cool also, but its a 2 seat. F16 is boring to me. Would love the Hind or Apache, but they are 2 seat. Most attack choppers are 2 seat I think. I would like the cobra too. Not going to get any of the raptors most likely. I am fine with a-g planes as they have more blowing stuff up potential. Not sure how exciting it is to blow stuff up at 20 miles away. I am going to pick up Lock on and FC2 after I get trackIR for my BS. I know I will buy any thing that DCS releases. I don't care what it is, I will buy it. I love sims and they are the first to give you so much. I hated the old sims where every thing had to be a keystroke. I love interactive pits.
  10. I have different commands mapped in game and the profiler and only the game commands work. I will try messing with the cyclic inputs when I get home. I was not sure if the FF was something that had to be enabled in a .lua file or something.
  11. So, if I make any edits to the in game controls list, it will overwrite the logitech? FF is powered Yeah, when I was calibrating it shook like crazy.
  12. Yeah, I have been mapping as I go, not using anyone's setups. I tried setting it up in the logitech software, but in game it was not taking. In fact, my logitech settings do not match the game and the game commands still work just fine. Is there something I need to do to make it take the profiler settings? I get no FF I dont think. Is there something I need to enable? When I go to FF tune in the game control settings, its all greyed out and will not let me adjust anything. I would definitely like to use the profiler though for the reasons you mentioned about switching during missions. Its also easier as a graphical interface and quick reference as to what the buttons do on the stick, instead of searching though the hundreds of items in the controls section in the game.
  13. Is there a good g940 tutorial for BS? I have had the hardest time just trying to figure out what all the sliders and axis actually are when trying to assign functions to any of them. Seems my throttle (collective) is not very sensitive either. I have to move the throttle pretty far to alter the collective it seems.
