I am not interested in a2g from 20k. I want to be in the thick of it. Those mulirole do not have the abilities of the A10 to get low and slow and gun the enemy to death. Why would one want to jump in a multirole to blow tanks up when there is an A10? I like the visual style battle that we have now. I would rather look for my targets than have my radar beep them on screen for me to simply press the trigger. Then again, I dont know how to use the radar in those fancy jets yet. :D And since it will equal out the teams, I think we need an apache or cobra next, then a su25t. Teams will be equal and a real battle can begin. Seems like much of the frogfoot's work has been done as well. :joystick::pilotfly: -

If they did they would use the name popularity and produce a sub standard product and get sales from name alone. Then when trying to find one used, you would never know if it was a good one or a new bad one. -
Wouldnt it be fairly easy to integrate the flir and rwr to the ka50? I mean they are very similar machines except the second seat, arent they?

My g940 works fine. Not sure how the two brands are so different. Or it sounds like Saitek x65 is the only one different as just about every other setup works.

Yeah, its a PITA, I really hope WH is better and easier. Make sure you are only editing the lua file and then do not touch the display config in game. I did manage to get mine working over a year ago. Then I reinstalled BS recently to start playing again and do not have that lua anymore. Not that I care much anymore as I believe trying to get multi mon setup in MP is even more difficult if not impossible.

Or locate the target as fast as you can and launch asap. By the time my vihkr was 10 seconds away 200 told me to get in formation. Missile hit and he said, great work.

So you want a single campaign that starts many different ways? Sounds like you simply want many different campaigns. You will have to wait for user generated campaigns like we have in BS after you run through the included ones. Or, you can get on MP. The mission is the same every time (destroy enemy airbase eg.) but it is drastically different each time thanks to real opposition instead of only AI. The ground forces are always the same however so that is not that great.

"an" comes before words with a vowel at the beginning like aircraft. I am not an english teacher so I do not know the technical terms for your grammar problems. Tense and spelling are some big ones.

Lots of problems with your english, but its readable. It would be awesome to have FPS games and Aircraft sims working with the same game engine. I would love to fly CAS for players in a FPS game online. Those camping snipers would be sitting ducks for my GAU. That is a long long way off if it ever happens. The military does not even have virtual wars with ground and air in the same sim environment. The air guys fly over AI battlefields not actual army sim players. I dont even want to imagine the lag problems with hundreds or thousands of FPS players on the ground while I try to provide CAS.

How are you grounded if you said the left will control the cyclic when not linked to the right throttle? M31> WOW dude. What is your BP if you get this worked up over a small bug with a video game? Not sure how many times you are using only one engine in a dual engine jet. If one engine is non functional, it does not matter if the throttle is being moved at the same time as the working engine. If one engine is off it again does not matter if the throttles are linked. Not sure how many times you have needed to unequally throttle the engines, but it seems like you must need to do it every flight. I do not have FC2, so not sure about the different combat situations where differential throttle control is necessary. Sounds more like complaining just to complain.

Outstanding. I could build the thing in the virtual world but have no clue on how to make it all work in real life with the sim.

I would think that each of those gauges is a linked image placed into the pit with a linked needle also placed into position with code. So, removing the lines of code in the lua file or whatever to not place those gauges seems like all that should be needed. However not sure if that would mess up the helios pit stuff. Or, is there a way to put the gauges "behind" the pit structure. Probably a lot harder than it seems. Does this work in conjunction with touchbuddy, or is it a complete software that places the gauges and has the touchscreen software all self contained? I am trying to think where I can put this new pit I have to build. Current custom computer desk will obviously not work. And I have no room in my computer room for any more furniture. 8' computer desk, and my wifes 6' computer desk take up all the space. I do have an alcove in my bedroom. Sure the wife would love me flying around at all hours of the night. :) Is the pit in the video for sale as a kit? Not the screens, just the structure.

Hopefully there is a way to designate another keyboard for all the functions it has, or it would obviously interfere with the normal KB bindings. Unless maybe the caps lock could be used to enable the main KB to switch over to the CDU stuff.

That sucks. Post got lost. I will buy this setup when its ready, That is for sure. I hate having to zoom into my shkval and abris to see stuff losing all situational awareness. My problem with virtual pits is the duplication of gauges. Is it possible to remove the cockpit from the forward view? Or better yet, keep it but remove the duplicate gauges. Keep the cyclic, collective, pedals, and structure of the cockpit, but remove all gauges that are also on the touch screens. That way the obstructions of the cockpit are present but the gauges are not there. Will this be easily expandable? I will not be able to afford 3 screens at once, but would like to start with one and build up. I assume also that as in BS multi setups, I do not need all monitors connected to one graphics card.

How do you zoom in out your right window without moving the focal point of the player camera? Not sure how your static view works for you. How do you have full view to all sides? You can not zoom out far enough to view all he panels in the cockpit without moving the point of view either. -

How did longbow handle the non player seat? I never played it, but everyone seems to claim is is still an amazing sim to this day. I would love to see a cobra but same problem exists with the other seat. Seems like the F14 is the easiest to automate the second seat. Not sure if the RIO has the same jobs in an F18/Tornado/or other 2 seat air craft. -
Why does the convoy continue to blow up after the initial blast? Seems like too big of an explosion for an IED. Like the concept though. The more random events the more interesting.

I think he means more in the radio comms. No idea what the typical chatter is like in war misisons, but would the pilot hear other pilots not in his group talking about what they are experiencing? I am playing the "fight back" mission in the Georgian Havoc campaign and the other flights never report anything about their missions or effectiveness. I have to press F2 to view what they are doing.

Not sure what it would take to have a user generated plane in the DCS series. There are a ton of addon planes in FSX. Not sure how that is possible, but not in DCS series. I would love to have the opposing side of the A10. Just like FC2 has both sides in the air 2 air combat. We need the opponent to the BS and the opponent to the A10. OP cockpit looks like it will be amazing. -
50-100 Million for an A10??? Uh, could get an entire squadron of A10 for that much.

Wow. No FFB and no pedals??? I love the mechanical switches and that it lights up. I also like the plate the stick sits on opposed to typical big plastic bases. But for the price, I can not imagine why it has no ffb or pedals. Does it come with a copy of DCSWH I hope? I will just remain happy with my g940 I guess. -
Wow was not thinking we would be attacking from 20k feet in A10. I keep my BS under cherubs 5 :) almost all the time. What reason does a CAS attack plane have engaging at that altitude? Wouldn't this increase the chance of getting picked off by an f15 20 miles away?

Is there a way to limit rearm and refuel options at the captured base? That could give people a reason to not spawn at that base after flying as fast as they could at 30m into a hill. Like, you can only spawn with vihkrs and tanks, no rockets or any other pods. I have not played the mission yet, so I do not know what is needed from the FARP forward, but if you could limit its functionality, that could be usefull. I doubt a captured FARP would have all that the home base had IRL anyway.
