    I'm not an expert so i would understand why the air turbine starter should have an exhaust..For what i understand and studied at school the air turbine starter should receive compressed air from the APU and then rotates a gear interconnected with the engine compressor,IIRC,so since it's compressed air i don't see the need of an exhaust(hope i didn't say bull**its:D)

    Hi guys,i've checked in track menu of BS but i didn't find it. I'm talking about a track of a two ka 50 taking off from a FARP and flying through the mountains in IFR,towards a enemy stronghold (perhaps it's the name of the track).IIRC it was present in v 1.0.1 and i didn't delete anything in the tracks folder. If it's present in someone's HDD and ,if that someone would share it,i will appreciate it. Thanx

    I'm a very very big fan of russian aviation,not because their planes are better,because i like them. Also i like the fact that a poorer country,technologically isolated, with less possibilities,has made very remarkable aircrafts. Like some of you said,the mig 25 suffered from the incapability of tooling titanium,it was conceived as a cheap interceptor,but still is an impressive aircraft,even today. I think that when we're talking about aerodynamics and maths ,russians aren't second to nobody else. But in the field of the engines,systems and avionics they always were behind the west. @ Groove: Don't you remember anything else of the polish migs? i've Searched with google but i haven't found anything

    Bad statement by Teknetinium(no offence for him),BTW i've never heard of mig 25 scrambled to intercept blackbirds(i'd like to know if happened).Additionally,SR 71s never flied over soviet union(at least officially).Sorry for the little off topic

    If i remember correctly, the RiG effect should begins at an altitude equal to the rotor diameter (for the ka 50 14.45 meters)

    Interesting @ 7:07(first video).There is a trail from the vertical stabilizer vent.Anyone noticed it?

    Actually it's not a problem,i just don't like how appears the cockpit in the right picture;i know that's not the original cockpit,it's a repainted version i made for my personal use,but the same effect it's present in the original version too.I noticed that when i set max cloud covering in the weather options,this effect is reduced,so i guess it could be reduced also in no clear weather conditions,editing some files... For the Vikhr question, i'd like to have less than 12 Vikhrs,obviously:lol:
