  1. Hi, I've noticed that after losing hydraulic pressure, both in the main and in the common system,i can fly perfectly just using the hydraulic accumulators . It happened in the rookie terrorists mission, where i took some ground fire, and it happened even if i select the dual hydraulic failure in the mission editor. Now i ask,is it normal that i can have hydraulic pressure from the accumulators and fly around for 20 min???For me, if i have a dual hyd failure i should have an handful of seconds to bring the chopper to the ground, thanks to the accumulators...they shouldn't have capacity for long time.... 2. Interesting, thanks
  3. Thanks very much, Mustur!!!
  4. Hi,i have to say that the only disappointment with BS2 is the limitation in the "clickable cockpit mode on/off" options. In fact in BS1 when pressing ALt+C we could choose between fixed view of the cockpit with the switches clickable, mouse view with no switches clickable, and a mode combining the previous two . Now there are only the first two options,so i'd like to know if there's a way to assign the "Alt+C" function to mouse ,for example the mouse button 2,because i tried to assign it,but with no results.I have no TiR and i have no plan to buy it,at least for the moment, and having every time the need to press Alt+C is annoying. Thanks
  5. It seems more stable now,but i can only confirm when i'll have upgraded my pc,because FTNoIR takes away some fps
  6. Probably a failure to the air data transuducers, who sent erroneous data to the flight control computers, and consequently the fcs put the aircraft in a flight envelope protection,i.e. an automatically pitch down ...but they are only rumours....the Flight control system is similar to the typhoon's one, while the yak has another avionics systems....last year a spanish typhoon crashed for this exact problem and probably someone suggested this reason ....we'll see

  9. Perhaps i could understand for the more collective authority, but why it has less MOI in pitch(at least i read this as "moment of inertia")?if i may ask....
  10. Does anyone find that now ,on takeoff, the helicopter is more sensitive to collective inputs?with just a little touch it leaves the ground....more power on idle,or is the in-ground effect of the rotor improved?

  18. After one year, the Italian safety agency for the aviation (ANSV) has released the final report for the incident occurred at the turin airport http://www.ansv.it/cgi-bin/ita/racc%20%20sicurezza%20inchiesta%20RA-82079.pdf (english) Engine inspection has found cracking of the 5th stage of the high pressure compressor that induced fatigue phenomena on the 6th stage, and with one blade missing. The engine designer knew the problem and the solution was to introduce a modification at the moment of the overhaul, but this action is considered not sufficient by italian authorities
