  1. Thanks!!!!!! to all who made this stunning airshow possible! really great flying skills i have seen, i enjoyed it very much!! Again my congratulations!
  2. Wow Frazer,.. this is the best video of Lockon i have ever seen!!!!!!!!!! and the music fits perfect to it Chapeau to Rhino!!! Wasserfall
  3. Stones can be dangerous, but bullets too, so i like to be very much informed of what my (potential)enemy is carrying other ten saying they are dangerous. Just my point of view:)
  4. As always the truth is somewere in between i guess. But the story about the saturn-Lyulka AL31FP being prone to Fod or not as reliable can not be confirmed imho, as the F15 pilot is talking about Tumansky engines! (commonly used in Mig,s) Would there be more or less fod on the runway when you talk about 1 minite or 45 seconds interval between take off? and theSU30MKI has fod covers! Anyone ever seen a Russian runway or parking area? About the drag the SU30MKI vectoring engines create compared with the 2d vectoring engines of the Raptor i don't know, fact is that earlyer Su37 testbed had 2d vectoring and this culminated in the 3d vectoring by fitting the nozzle movement at an angle, so the Russians have tested both solutions. Cheers!!
  5. Always thought those Norwegians are loonies, well this says it all:) Coming to think of woman, don't get involved they rob you from your presciuos time!! But than again they have some positive things:) Cheers, Wasserfall
  6. Here is some video footage of the Indian experience of Redflag http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-705642758122432671&ei=SDkTSamAIY6I_QGKk9TlDg&q=2008+Red+Flag
  7. About the IFF, even in lockon you can determine friend from enemy, why coudn't they? And do they have an datalink? maybe someone here knows? As for the fod, the SU30 has a fod grill just to prevent that, and if you look at Russian airfields it is needed to say the least. But offcourse if they didn't had any spare engines, it better not to risk damage. I did see the SU30MKI perform in reall life , so i'm not totaly objective:) Cheers!
  8. The event was imho the best of all FSweekends i had, it was really fantastic and an honor to meet Jim, Groove, Urze, my fellow DFDT mates and last but not least Sebur, my crazy Russian friend! 21. If you mean the grey ones, those are warninglights and can be illuminated with led's (at the moment not implemented) The switches can have a function, but the electronics are not yet installed And i don't think we put the panel to production, it has to much handbuild hours and difficult to make a production run of it But for the ones interrested i can share my illustrator files! Thanks! Wasserfall
  22. Eh,.. i think so, at least for now (i use a X52pro and not planning to buy a Cougar too) But maybe there will be complete stick in the future, ask HPO or JoeKurr!! See you at the LLTM, Wasserfall
  23. If there is enough interrest, i could make a Illustrator (or .EPS,DXF,PDF,Coreldraw) file of the whole panel including the Cyrllic text and some explanation of the switches etc. but note that not all funcions of the warninglights, switches are known yet (would be a large file though). Please let me know Cheers!! Wasserfall
  24. Thank you very much for sharing these magnificent pictures!! It would be very nice to see it at the LLTM in Ahaus, if that would be possible!!!! Any chance? Respect!!! Wasserfall
