Update Hello again! Here is a little update of the panel, it is the base of the hud, in the first pic are some parts that i made of PVC material. The second pic: glued together,it is taking shape already:) Next are some pics of the entire instrumentpanel, withe the latest additions. and Close up of the hud base (i still don't know if i will make the hud entirely) but i have some time left before the DCS Flanker will appear:(, at least 5 years i think That's it for now, hope you like it! My setup This is my so called "simpit", easy to install and fits under every table if we visit lanparty's Left top shows the SU27 panel i am working on, eventually we (Dutch Flanker Display Team) like to build the whole cockpit (sidepanels, controlstick, K36 seat etc.) Cheers!

It can be! Things are harder to find now on the rearranged forum, like our project (DFDTcockpit), you have to dig deep in to the forum to find it, pitty! Oh.... , when NEW things are announced, the lack of interrest in existing things seems to be a human reaction. But maybe when al the fuzz around DCS is calming down people get back to FC.

Thanks!, the front panel is almost ready (MFD) so time to concentrate on the side panels:) But that will take some time, 1 or 2 years:) Back to the event, it was a nice happening surrounded by al those planes, we enyoyed it very much!, and nice to give the public a hands on feeling (future simmers:)) Actualy this was the place to introduce Blackshark to the public with all those flightsimmers, a wasted oportunity sadly. Indeed, and it's the biggest Flight simulator event in Europe, so why no BS? If ED is looking for future customers that would be the place to find them!

We don't have to think, just start a pol and see wat "we" want, seems fair to me. That should be the democratic way:)

Who's control is it than? i like to know. i think i speak for many others,.. we would really like to have some influence of choosing what the next flyable model will be! ( it is more or less known that the majority of this community likes jets instead of helicopters, at least that's what i noticed). As for the SU27/33, that would probably be a wait for 2 or 3 years, that's sad, i was planning to buy BS, but at the moment i'm not sure if i will.

The most used 3D program is Max i guess, but who can tel me some more about Maxon's Cinema 4D? i saw some very convincing creations made by it! Thanks

Hud The next thing i have to tackle is the base for the hud, at this moment i haven't decided to build the hud itself, because it would be in front of the screen were the hud is visible too. here is a screeny from Illustrator Now i have to make it somehow:) Next time some pictures! Cheers

Count me in too, i'm having the same problems as you 1 Lockon stops working after some time without any reason 2 the afterburner sound is always there But i think there will be no patch until BS comes out:(

In this case, 1C Games in Russia presented a project for ED based on the success of a film starring the Ka50 in Russia. ED thought they could make money from it, and accepted the project. It's that simple. Thank you, i didn't know that! So if i'm right the Russian market is more important to ED (1C) then the global market? Nevertheless i will buy BS afterall:)
