The #1 comment, made by --Esac mirmidon-- gives some flaws with the Su-27 and MiG-31 skins. Now I would add what I've discovered so far: Su-27: a) the numbers on the rudders start with blue 21 to blue 25, even if you use the right bort numbers in the ME, b) It seems to me, that this is the only skin made for the Su-27. I'm unable to use other RuAF squadrons just this one has been provided, c) when the afterburner is active - the ab nozzle opens, but the engines produce no textures in yellow/red color. #1 MiG-31: 174 GvIAP "Boris..." - changes during LOD's the wing colors in white/red #2 MiG-31: Demo 903 White - there are no numbers on both sides right under the canopy, but you see a tile of the skin which doesn't fit there, - the LOD's change the bort # from 5 to 915 #3 MiG-31 AF standard - nose section is in white (no skin) - zoom in - rudders bort # white 1 but the 6 is missing, due to different LOD - landing gear is completely white (no skin) Would like to add that both aircraft are now excellent. I sincerely hope, that someone from ED would take a look at these birds. Thank you! rhino

@crazyeddie Now for a couple of months I got this mentioned ships bow wave problem. I guess this happens with the LOD. When I zoom out, the bow waves are OK. But if you get closer with the LOD they disappear and the ship looks like it made a full stop and will not move. I'm using DCS World 1.2.3. In case you've the time, maybe you and Mustang can solve this annoyance. Thank you for your help! rhino

I had a pair of F-14A's to take off from the CVN. As mentioned in the last msg, the F-14's were floating on the deck. As soon as the afterburner activated, the a/c made a dive through the deck and exploded. Two a/c lost! I would appreciate to look into this problem, otherwise --no more-- flights 'til version 1.2.4 is released! rhino

Well, Ebs, we're coming closer to reality. I know that some of the air bases don't show their TWR & APP frequencies. I was creating a new mission which includes the RCAF. In the ME - payload page, the paint scheme window is just blank. No skins for the Canadian AF, not even the USN VFA-94 skin is present. But in the mission the FA-18C uses the VFA-94 liverie only. I'm using the DCS World 1.2.2.7570 with modul DCS A-10C. Maybe someone could give me a hand. Appreciate your time...! rhino

I got the same problem with a MiG-27K. The plane was hit, the pilot ejected. The MiG-27 now useless made loops and climed up to 140,000 ft the sky went dark. This happened also with a F-16CJ in the same area E of Anapa AB. I would like to mention that, due to the fact that I never had this happen over Georgia. rhino

Now there seems to be some kind of activity to start the program for the new series of the An-124 Ruslan heavy lifter. After almost 2 years of negotiations these companies have good plans to built a more technical advanced aircraft. Let's see what a partnership of Russia and the Ukraine will create in the coming years. Stuka, thank you for the hard work, the mod is fantastic! Since I've switched from FC2 to DCS A-10C, the improved environment in the sim has changed to the positive side. Lately, I made some templates for NATO and Soviet Union ground troops. Now your idea to put every vehicle "in line" is a good move which I'll take in consideration next time. The FM 100-60 OPFOR (Approved for public release; distribution unlimited), as a pdf file is a good help for that. rhino

Yes, you do an excellent job! You see all the tiny things on the ground which look sometimes kind'a unfinished. Just like to mention all the ground mods you've changed in FC2. The Read Me file is a precise instruction which is important nowadays. Thanks Mustang!

For Tomcatz, I’d like to ask for his genuine KC-10A which was delivered in one of his FC1.1 Jetpacks a couple of years back. But, if I may ask - pls in the original skin color, more dark gray. If there is a chance to keep the turbo fanblades rotating the right way? Another canditate for a slight facelift is the unbelieveable C-17, it would’ve earned the crowns! @beczl Now without a doubt, you produce precision models which are unsurpassed. Thank you for your hard work! An additional point is, that your mods work perfectly whithout any glitches, which means you’ve good people who support your work. You’re planning to use the RU ICBM RT-2PM Topol/SS-25 Sickle for an upcoming mod. Well, that’s great! But did you consider that specific type has a nuclear warhead and the target range would be to short due to the small map of FC2? I mean this is an ICBM… Well, that is just an idea, I support your mods and certainly hope to see more of your work. rhino
