I am using DCS 2.8. In the A10 When i select the GBU 12 in the DSMS the bomb automatically drops without me pressing the weapon release button. all other bombs including MK 82 (haven't tested the rockets yet) drop when I press the weapons release. I will try and do a video of what happens.

No. It seems to be only the GBU12 that are being released. All other ordinance drops when I press the weapon release button.

Does anyone know why my GBU 12 bombs drop as soon as I select it in the DSMS page? Thank you.

I used to use Oculus Quest 2 with DCS but because of display issues switched to the HP reverb headset. I started using the Quest 2 on Windows 11 and had all kinds of problems. I then switched back to Windows 10 and most of the display problems went away but not all. So I switched to the HP reverb and I have had absolutely no problems. VR runs like a dream. But I am running Windows 10. Does anyone know if there are any issues running DCS in VR using Windows 11 especially with HP reverb head set. Thank you.

I have pre purchased the 15E but it does not appear in my module box in DCS. Is that because early access is only available in Open Beta? I did read somewhere that it should be available in both versions of DCS.

Hi Is there a problem with this campaign running in 2.8. In the first mission after all the infantry gets taken out it does not go into the second part of the mission taking out the artillery. The infantry guy just stands by the helicopter and does not search the premises.

Thanks guys you hit the button. I use VR and sometimes automatically the VR controller is mapped. I totally forgot about it and didn't think about it until you guys mentioned I have something mapped to RDR control and you where correct, Thanks guys. Appreciate it.

no not the tdc bars. You know the carat on the side of the radar that goes up down and scans the bars. It is stuck at the top of the display and only scans the top portion. Usually it is in the center.

Have s problem with the F-18 radar. The scanning carat of the radar keeps scanning the top portion of the display instead of being centered. Every time I use the radar button to bring the carat to the center position it stays for a few seconds and then goes to the top again. Anyone have any ideas how I can fix this. Thanks.

Hi. Recently My DCS was updated to 2.8. Playing this campaign in 2.8 the first mission the second part of the mission does not materialize. I take out the troops at the house and the JTAC comes back target destroyed no more tasking I may depart and that is it. Darknight does not come back with the part of the mission where I am to take out the artillery. The house doesn't get blown up no options for JTAC dark night. I fly around for a while then depart because of low fuel and the mission is recorded as a draw.. Any chance having this campaign updated to 2.8. This is my second time playing it. Played it in 2.7 loved it one of my favorite campaigns. Thank you.

Ok thank you for all your help. I have reinstalled everything and everything seems to be working fine now. I have even reinstalled the new vaicom and it seems to be working fine as well. Again thanks for all your help. Much appreciated.

Yes. The key is working. I have used 2 keyboards with the same result. I have already opened a ticket. The things suggested so far have not worked. . I am waiting after new year holidays maybe they will come up with other means of fixing this. Meanwhile I have uninstalled DCS again. I have deleted all files associated with DCS am now reinstalling DCS. 2.8. If this does not work I will reinstall 2.7 and and use it until a fix is discovered. I can't believe I am the only one having this problem. If that is the case then the problem has to be something with my system. But what? I don't want to do a complete system reformat.

Ok this is crazy. I have uninstalled and reinstalled dcs and the communications menu is still not accessible.

Yes I did a slow repair. I just have a single monitor set up. I attached the log file. I have a feeling I may have to uninstall DCS and reinstall it. Again thanks for your help. dcs.log

Hi. Happy New year. Thank you for your help. There shouldn't be any reference to Vaicom. I changed the name of the saved games DCS folder and the game created a new folder. Vaicom is no longer on my system. And I checked the new DCS folder as of yet there is no script folder. I still have no access to the communications menu.

Hi I have downloaded the new community Vaicom and installed it. I still have no access to the Communications menu. Any ideas?

I just updated DCS to 2.8 . When I went into DCS I noticed I had no access to the Communications menu. Upon further research I discovered that part of the problem was Vaicom. I uninstalled Vaicom I deleted all folders I could find created by Vaicom. I did a slow repair and still I have no access to the communications menu. Anyone else have any suggestions that I have not tried. The com. menu does not work with buttons assigned to my hotas or key board keys. And does anyone know whet is going on with Vaicom. I know the guy Hollywood is no longer involved with it so is the entire app dead and the money we spent on it wasted or is someone else going to take it over. Hopefully the people who purchased it in the past are not going to have to buy it again.

Still learning. When you land at an air base you are directed to go to the Parking area. Where is the parking area? There are hundreds of parking areas. Do you just pick one or is there a specific parking spot you have to go too. Thank you.

Mision 3 Defending Krymsk. Once I land in Krymsk first of all it is so dark you can't see anything. all you are told is go to parking area. Can someone tell me where the parking area is. All campaigns do the same. Is there a standard area to park? Thank you.

I am having trouble updating Vaicom. Every time I start Vaicom it gives me the message that a new update is available. I click yes to update it downloads the package tries to install and the installation fails. And the message pops up again the next time I start Vaicom. I have tried everything from uninstalling and reinstalling to manually trying to install the update, nothing works, I contacted Vaicom tech support not so much as even a reply. No idea why they even have a teach support. They never reply. The worst tech support department I ever dealt with. Anyways anyone experience the same problem and does anyone know how to fix it. Thank you.

Thank you. The menus are fine now, but I still can't get my f-16 to take off. It is only the f-16 that the pitch and roll don't work. All the other planes work fine. They work fine in the setup page get into the cockpit and they stop working. Can't figure it out.
