So last night after a few crashes in the beginning I played a straight hour or so and didn’t have any crashes after then. I would start a mission-crash into the ground replay fly crash into the ground I repeated this in a fast pace for like 20 mins or so. Then started a easy bfm mission and got the fireballs going then restarted/fly again and within an hour of doing this I never got a crash. I hope this helps somehow. mall in 2D mode not VR i may try to enable HAGS this evening to see how it reacts. Thanks for all the hard work E A and team.

The more I played the less crashed. Hour and a half no crashes. The sim a beauty !

Same here I was just flying for an hour and I’m up 3 crashes when I click Fly Again in a single mission.

I haven’t looked in the files just because I have no idea what all that means. But yes I also had several crashes and some was sent directly to E A. Being on Open Beta we are all testers and I’m sure the team will get it solved with time.

Still having quit a few crashes this morning. I don't see the crash files for today/this mornings crashes. I've had 4 so far within an hour. Should I do a repair?

I disabled all overclocking and haven't got a crash yet.

So far this morning 4 crashes within an hour changing in and out of a mission. Im starting to get alittle upset now.

Yikes I so much love the update to 2.7 and must say Fanastic work but I’ve had quit a few crashes and could not end DCS in task manager had to hard reboot. I just wanted to report this. It’s all good and I’m sure it will all smooth out. Thanks for a fantastic new DCS and it really takes my breath away at times...the clouds ... not the crashes Cheers !

Yup same here just not bright enough and trying to adjust the contrast and brightness doesn't help.

Agree on my 34”1440p monitor with high settings and tracker ir it looks amazing, like a brand new sim with better performance too. G2 same o same I mean is okay but not the hooooly crap this is amazing. In my fpsvr graph I’m in the orange now with my settings so have to tweak alittle. I’m running 100% and steamvr per app at 80% it runs smooth but the clouds are no defined like on a monitor. But that just may be how it goes, i haven’t a clue.

I also unplug/power off my G2 from the little black box when I’m done. I’ll be looking in on some kind switch control. Thanks for the input, everything is running very well now and loving the 2.7 update.

Dang I really need to do this shader thing that’s the only thing I’m lacking in SoH guide... kinda scared to be honest I’m not to tech savvy.

I’ll have to agree that the performance in Syria and flying the Tomcat seems to be slightly better for me. Now on my monitor holy cow if I can get my G2 that crisp I’ll quit my day job for sure. Eagle Dynamics did a superb job ! Although I had 2 crashes within 30 mins after the update, but after 3 hours of flying it never happened again. In fpsvr I’m running steamvr @80% and in the Tomcat over Syria my gpu graph is in the orange and the cloud slider at high, I think I may have to turn something down to stay in the green so may have to do some tweaking for that possible run steamvr @ 54-75%. Never got any stutters though and very smooth. Just seems like a new sim now and I’m loving it ! Great Job to E D for sure.

Okay so it not that important as everything with my new rig is running just awesome so I do t want to mess anything up. Sorry SoH I may have to go back to your guide and brush up alittle because you have been updating it. The only thing I haven’t done yet is the Shaders. Thanks

I noticed that I had like 5 monitor when my G2 is hooked up which I had no idea why. So I did a search for it and the only thing I found was a YouTube video about it. I don’t know if this would benefit anything as far as performance wise for some, just want to know if anyone is doing this Multiple Monitor Registry. Here the video on how to @ 4.23

Oh, will I'm running WMR beta ? I have always thought that we should run the beta version. Both steamvr and WMR are running. Well I'll have to check this out when I'm home. Thanks SoH !

Tested HAGS with my system and this new driver and got alot of stutters so I disabled it again. Does not work for me.
