I use a shift state on mine and have no issues. Granted, its one mode, one shift state, but I have everything thats mapped on the real Warthog HOTAS mapped to my stick. You got the latest software? Latest drivers? Another interesting issue I found when creating mine is that the saitek software doesnt like file names longer than 15 characters when using Win 7 x64. What OS are you using?

I friggin hate that my Q6600 is old news now lol...I definitely need a graphics card update too! Running a 9800 GTX+...it does OK, but definitely doesn't do 'High' settings well.

I was having the same issue, and the fuel boost pumps were the issue. The checklists in the manual are confusing...you cant use the 'engine startup' checklist just by itself, as the 'pre-flight' switch check before that has stuff in it that affect how the aircraft starts up...these being the prime case. (Edit: meaning you turn the fuel boost pumps on prior to any of the stuff in the startup checklist) The training mission on engine startup is great, and I made myself my own checklist based on that (since we're in a sim, I don't need to check the position of every switch before I start the plane...I'd imagine the planes have a standard set of initial conditions when they 'spawn')

Hi! Eric, from Nevada here...started with flight sims on my grandfathers computer playing MSFS5, and F-14 Fleet Defender. Used to fly Falcon 4 back in the SP and BMS days, and have been waiting for a good A-10 sim since the days of Falcon 3.0! (Curse you Spectrum Holobyte! :D ) Cheers!
