  1. The issue is with Occulus, not Vaicom Pro. Vaicom has no control over what is happening with Occulus. Reinstalling your software also wont help. https://www.vrfocus.com/2018/03/is-your-oculus-rift-currently-not-working-this-might-be-the-reason-why/ http://www.ign.com/g00/articles/2018/03/07/oculus-rifts-stopped-working-this-morning-around-the-globe
  2. The GPS coordinates are right there, if it's anything like the real GNS 430 you should be able to enter that directly. This is a real GNS 430, creating a new waypoint for an approach fix. https://youtu.be/2TuV2SeLtkY?t=61
  3. MFD buttons :D In all seriousness, CCIP/CCRP bombing and TGP usage will be very similar. Maverick employment too. At least the overall technique. Getting to the places you use those things will be different.
  4. This is fantastic! One question, is there any way to make the sound switcher work without being tied to VR? I have two outputs and sometimes want to use one, sometimes the other, but do not use VR. Thanks!
  5. I saw that in the A-10 Nevada Instant Action mission as well.
  6. Don't be pedantic. 'Damped' doesn't even come up as anything but the past tense of 'damp', and the definitions of the two words are the same. Someone is trying to help you and you question their word choice. #2 here: http://www.dictionary.com/browse/dampened This community gets more absurd and juvenile as the years go on. It's not hard to believe EDs claim that more people play single player, if this is the type of person you're likely to encounter.
  7. For some reason cockpit language and avionics language are separate now. If you go to Gameplay > Avionics Language and set it to English and not 'Native'...I don't get the logic behind this change, but I'm not a dev.
  8. This should be much more obvious in the notes! I was very confused as to what was going on, thought it was a bug. Weird place for it, and I'd assume most people that want the pit in english want the avionics in english too...
  9. So to be clear, you experienced the performance issues after the recent patch, completely uninstalled DCS 1.5 and reinstalled at a base level. You then experienced no performance issues until you patched using the updater, correct? Most recent patch introduces performance issues, but this time instead of reinstalling you use the updater to 'downgrade' the installation? So for your testing you want people on the latest hotfix to attempt to revert to a previous version using the updater? I doubt the performance problem is in the updater itself...is this your first Eagle Dynamics beta? :)
  10. LOL I was trying to start an A-10C campaign last night and it started me in the Su-25. Good stuff.

  12. Try a different browser. I have to do all my ED store stuff in IE.
  13. Noticed this as well, I'll try to get a screenshot to post tonight.
  14. I will reattempt this and record what I can. Thanks for everyone's input!
  15. What Skulleader posted is exactly the issue I get, not with the HUD (I get the collimated part), but when the 'head' is in the 'default' position, it looks like my viewpoint is perpendicular exactly to the slanted glass on the HUD. What I mean is in Skulleaders picture here, see how the UFC sides are slanted, where in the default views they're straight up and down? I used the mod prior to 1.2.4 and it wasn't like this. And I did follow the instructions in the readme to the letter. Is this just 'how it is' now? Edit: My bad, I guess that part is angled up in the real aircraft: I still don't feel like the view angle through the HUD is quite right.
  16. PeterP I have a legitimate question. I ran this before on 1.2.3, but chose to reinstall for 1.2.4. Now when I install the mod, my default viewpoint (TrackIR centered, even with it disabled) is near where the pilots chest/stomach would be and looking up. The HUD is also huge. Would you have any idea why? I restored to the default files, and reapplied, but it did the same thing. Thoughts?
  17. Sounds like it was a bug that they fixed.
  18. How did you get such great performance with all those rocket attacks and smoke on the ground? Rendering out of the track?
  19. Surprised no one has commented on this...the A-10C module is now three times its size in 1.2.3...what changed? Looks like BS2 is as well...
  20. From here? Download worked for me... http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/downloads/modules/dcs_combined_arms_english/? Are you using the direct download or the torrent?
  21. Uh...getting shocked through your stick is NOT a software problem. You need to contact Saitek and get it replaced if its under warranty, or something along those lines. I hate SST, too, but your equipment shocking you is, again, NOT a software problem. I would imagine the stick losing its profile and flickering LEDs also has nothing to do with the profile software itself, perhaps the driver, but not likely SST.
  22. Apologies for the misunderstanding, the hating comment was more directed at Boarders comment about ratings and whatnot. I was under the impression that the latest version of Android was meant to minimize device fragmentation. Plus, with as many devices are out there, wouldn't it be possible to allow the user to configure their 'display' setup and then customize panels from there? As a full time professional, I completely understand this. Again, my intent was not to crap on your efforts. The great majority of those links are from early 2012/2011. Have you looked into developing for Android 4.0? Netflix has an Android app, and its amazing. Piracy is a factor on all platforms. That shouldn't stop you. Like I said, I love that you guys have taken something and made it a reality. Just trying to provoke a discussion. :)
  23. Always gonna be haters. Considering Android has 75% of the global smart phone market, and quite a large (and growing, c'mon, $200 tablets?) chunk of tablet users, you're passing up a major opportunity to increase that revenue. You aren't just catering to the mostly American iDevice user set when you develop on Android, you're catering to a worldwide audience. A recent survey showed that most Android devices were running 2.3...meaning most should be capable of handling something like iControl DCS. Besides, if their hardware isn't compatible, you can say so, there are system requirements for regular software for regular computers, aren't there? :) Just my .02c, I think iControl DCS is awesome, and while I don't own a copy or an iPad, I have to give you mad props for taking an idea and making it reality!
