This is not the launch recycle sound I'm talking about, in the track you will hear the "new ground contact" sound.

Hello all, it seems that currently whenever an active radar missile goes pitbull, the "new ground emitter" sound (the low pitched one) plays after the launch indication, which is confusing since this is an air to air missile. I am attaching a trackfile with this behaviour. F16MissileSound.trk

Hi, I am aware that this issue can arise for some people, however I couldn't for the life of me get it reproduced. Can you PM me a video of the behavior, from start to finish, and also your PC specs? Please make sure you have downloaded from the Releases section, and not the source code. Are you referring to the Sinai map? It should work there as well, if it isn't, PM me a video of the behavior so I can take a look. I do not own the map so I will have to do some guesswork. Hello, about the shortcut keys, as it is at the moment, those are hardcoded in, I will try and make them customizable, if possible. As for the VR prompts, it's a tricky situation, as some people fly both seats from time to time, but I will try to set up a default value for this.

Hi, the problem is that you have pasted that line in the wrong file, it should be placed in the Export.lua file, not at the end of TheWay.lua file. If you remove it from there, and paste it at the end of the Export.lua, it should work correctly. Hi, this is interesting, it might be a problem i haven't detected until now... i hope i can find a fix for it

Yes, should I open a separate bug report since it's unrelated to VSR
-
I see, but is this also normal for plain old STT? On a beaming target, it cannot hold the lock at all, even when the target is above.
-
In VSR yes, but in STT?
-
Is it also normal for the radar to not be able to track an orbiting target in uplook? As soon as the target is beaming, it drops lock. Not in VSR mode though, in STT

Removing IC on Gunsight mods or improving existing Gunsights

Can confirm, for instance the Hind gunsight looks almost 'digital' by it's perfect lines. -
5.2 OFP added support for LITENING AT. But DCS has LITENING II.

Hi, the installer does nothing to your DCS installation. All it does is copy over the program executables into your windows, so that you can run it. You can uninstall it by going into your programs list (Programs and features) and selecting Uninstall. This will remove the program from Windows. Your DCS installation will be affected only by the .lua files, that you have to copy into the game, as per the instructions. If you want to remove those, just backtrack your installation steps. Generally though, everything is designed to not modify DCS in any substantial way, only to add functionality on top of it.

Hello everyone, it's been a while since a new version of the program was released, mainly because I didn't find time to further code it. Lately however, I have found time to actually build a new version, with a fully remade interface that implemented all your requests so far. The changes include: New user interface with features like renaming waypoints, changing elevation and reordering (check the video below for more details) Support for exporting/importing files with waypoints Added keybinds for VR users Fixed FPS issues and other bugs Added support for the F16 Sufa mod and the Ka50 3 Please keep in mind this is a first release, please PM me any bugs or issues, and we'll get it sorted. Here is a video showing all the new features: To upgrade to this version, head over to the release found here Download the zip file from there. Then, extract it and replace your existing `TheWay.lua` file in Saved Games with the new one. Otherwise, the new version won't work properly. Then, run the installer, and that's all. If this is your first time using TheWay, follow the full install instructions here: instructions As always, thanks to all the people who've helped me so far with developing and testing. This is the way.
