  1. While these features have been highly requested, I am unsure I have the time available to develop them currently, as it will require a major GUI rewrite, possibly in another programming language.
  2. I remember making a thread about this behavior when it launched, it got marked as correct-as-is:
  3. The video speaks about the dashed Target Locator Line as well, which is quite a significant feature to be implemented. Since it's very similar to the FCR target locator line, it should be relatively easy to implement.
  4. I think I know what's wrong, you have something typed into the keyboard already, make sure that the cursor is not blinking prior to entering the waypoints. If it still doesn't work, PM me on the forums.
  5. Hello, could you show me a video of when it doesn't work? Also keep in mind if the framerate is very high, above 140 fps, issues might arise.
  6. Try changing the windows main screen to the dcs used one, or launching the app from the screen you use dcs on.
  7. My track is single player. There are certain situations where the lock would work. In my case, that position of the bandit relative to me gave the failure a very high occurrence rate.
  8. The mission is a hot start. I've encountered the problem both in hot started jets, and in cold started jets with the HMCS properly aligned.
  9. While I know what you mean, this isn't the issue I am showing here. In my case the issue is present with a single bandit, and the TD box drifts behind it. I am not talking about multiple bandits or the radar choosing another target, that's a different situation.
  10. Hello everyone, Following more intensive flying of the F-16 in dogfights, all thanks to the amazing flight model changes, I am here to talk about a behaviour that I've managed to replicate and capture on tape recently. Namely, when an aircraft is locked up in ACM mode with the HMCS using the BORE setting (the oval on the HMCS), there is a chance that the "lock" itself will be a ghost lock behind the bandit, the box trailing behind it, until the lock is dropped after a while. I have attached an image and a trackfile replicating the behaviour, and I hope this will aid in taking a look at the situation. All the best! HMCSdesync.trk
  11. Unfortunately that is not possible at the moment in DCS. Waypoints for FC3 are loaded only in the mission file.
  12. Hello, from what I can tell the F-16 does this routing automatically, when in fact it should be dictated by a data cartridge. For the Apache, the procedure is a but convoluted to get the rounting to work programmatically... I need a bit more time in the helicopter to devise a way to make it work.
  13. I see... I don't have the Hornet so I am not too well versed in how it works and its full feature set. As a workaround, try to use TOO with waypoint designation for now.
  14. I'm not sure what you mean exactly... Are you referring to the Hornet PRECISE mode? If that's a yes, then it's already implemented, all waypoints for the Hornet will be in the PRECISE format.
  15. It should work as it is, the waypoints input instantly so you might not notice anything happening. Check the waypoint list amd they should be there.
  16. Hey all, new update to mitigate some bugs that have been noted so far: Fixed input problems with Mirage, Harrier and Apache at high FPS Fixed Apache CPG desync by adding a dialog to choose the seat you are in (most notable in multiplayer) If you are upgrading from an older version, simply extract the new 'The Way' folder contained in the .zip file into your existing folder, overriding any files, and replace your old 'TheWay.lua' file in your Saved Games with the new one. If this is your first installation, follow the instructions in the GitHub readme. Download from here: https://github.com/aronCiucu/DCSTheWay/releases/tag/v1.5.1 @beechy65@naloxoneIf you are having trouble with the install, make sure you have followed the instructions carefully. If it still doesn't work, DM me on the forum or Discord so I can take a closer look.
  17. Hello, this feature would require some rewriting of the whole program, to allow for keybinds to be used... It is not an easy thing to implement from my current knowledge...
  18. The bug seems to relate to high FPS, above 60... I will add more delay to the keypresses so that it would work better. In the meanwhile, try to use Vsync to limit the framerate to 60.
  19. Valuable suggestion and indeed many have asked for it in the past. It would require some tinkering with the GUI system to allow for that, I will note it down for the future.
  20. Hello, check out the Releases section where you can grab the most recent one (make sure to follow the installation instructions in the main page of the repo) : https://github.com/aronCiucu/DCSTheWay/releases
  21. Unfortunately no, as I do not have any VR gear to develop on.
  22. Not sure if that would be possible, as the Hind does not have a conventional INS based coordinate system for waypoints, and the map markers for it's doppler navigation are entered through the mission editor.
  23. Might be the antivirus, however unlikely, I have not heard of it interfering with my software... What might be the case is downloading the source code from GitHub instead of downloading from the Releases section. Only the Releases section contains the exe, not the source code.
  24. I see... I never tested it in multiplayer, when I do I'll probably look into the synchronization further. Until then, the best move would be to let the pilot do the waypoints...
