With no doubt that list will be available when SA Map '82 comes out, in fact there are renders of several of them.

2022 DCS Newsletter Discussion - Week 1 & Week 2 (no newsletters)
-SkyRaider- replied to NineLine's topic in DCS 2.9
I don't know if is the correct place, but what about the announced "global map", I'm curious about their technologies, mainly the destructible environment; after all it's a military (flight) SIM. -
I have a generic USB 3.0 cable and so far it works fine; when I do a check, on average, it gives me 2.5 Gbps.

Oculus Quest 2 or HP G2, new future user here.
-SkyRaider- replied to -SkyRaider-'s topic in Virtual Reality
Finally today I ended up acquiring a Q2, for purely practical reasons (cheaper and immediate availability in my Country/City), but I'm going to test it and use for the following months; at the end of the next year I plan to get a new rig and VR headset, surely a G2 or a hypothetical G3. -
Oculus Quest 2 or HP G2, new future user here.
-SkyRaider- replied to -SkyRaider-'s topic in Virtual Reality
Thank you all for the feedbacks, I read carefully all the comments, more suggestions are welcome. In my country the G2 costs me twice that the Q2, so I need to analyze very carefully if the difference worth it; I will probably opt for the HP G2 in the end, so I hope the field of view will be similar to the Rift S. -
Thx a friend I used for the first time ever a VR helmet on DCS (and HL Alyx) and I have no words to describe the experience, it's simply outstanding, awesome...so, I just decide to buy one; my rig is a I7-9700K 3.60GHz, 32GB RAM, RTX 2080Ti and SSD. I can't decide between an Oculus Quest 2 or a an HP G2; my friend own a Oculus Rift S, but now it is discontinued and just can I get and afford these two models for now. Please, can I get sugerences for what of these two device it its better or recommended for my PC specifications; I aim to play SIM flights about 80% of the time and the rest 20% in FPS-type games. thank you all in advance.

What DCS features do you like to see on a future?
-SkyRaider- replied to Silver_Dragon's topic in DCS Core Wish List
I vote for "New Engine / Map building technology" some days ago, but I would like to add now that I like all of the others options too; finally, I don't know if this is a feature but I really want to see in the future on the DCS World a fully operational ground crew/vehicles on the air bases. -
I see, my mistake, I thought the throttle was in the grip ... thanks for answering.

The Blackhawk grip is expecting to going for release at the end of this year; by the way can someone please explain the differences between both VPC Rotor TCS, thanks.

Pre-ordered through Steam too, and a copy to my bro as well; first ever helicopter module bought on DCS, love that beast. P/S please release a tutorial how to fly on a X56 Hotas with out a collective, thanks.

Si, esa ubicación estaria perfecto, pero no veo como ingresarlo, me podrías dar una idea; estoy usando el software de Logitech para agregar/modificar comandos; o para este caso en particular uso directamente el de DCS? gracias por la ayuda de todos modos.

X56 add command configuration
-SkyRaider- replied to -SkyRaider-'s topic in Controller Questions and Bugs
Hello, thank you very much for your answer; At the moment I am only interested in making it work manually, I'll see if I can make it work. -
Hello, I'm working on the configuration of my X56 using the Logitech software, and I binding some commands, but I can't figure how to add the Chaff and Flares to my HOTAS, can I get some help, thanks.
-

Superb work, thx for sharing

Yes, I have read about it, but I understand that the first to be published will be the current version, leaving the 1982 version for later, maybe years later ..

The actual "Malvinas/Falklands" map does not have any sense since Argentine Armed Forces don't have any modern combat plane, the Air Force just have a few A-4AR (no more five or six, armed with AIM-9L and dumb bombs) and the Navy right now don't have anything except a few inoperative SUE/SEM; and this two models of aircraft not exist on the DCS world. Besides, these aircraft can do absolutely nothing against the EF-2000 Thypoon based on the islands. It would be different if they first published a version of the map from 1982, and include at least two Argentine aircraft models (IA-58 and MB-339 on the way) and later some Mirage III and / or A-4 Skyhawk.

Will deck crew make correction in case of wrong alignment?
-SkyRaider- replied to ViperDriver's topic in DCS: Supercarrier
I write this here although I had planned a time ago to upload in a related topic to land base aircrafts, but I think that here it is valid too (ACLARATION: the paragraph in bold can be applied for onboard air operations); ok there we go: This is for ground crew support personnel aircrafts, not for carriers CVN/CV/LHA, etc. For practical reasons the ground crew clothing and equipment can be the same for all US planes, Russia has their respective, etc. Instead, for obvious reasons, every plane have their exclusive animations personnel (to fit it when work under wings and around the plane), and vehicles for rearm and refuel. When taxing heading to their respective spot and "near" it, using a key, the pilot can chose to "automatic", and the plane head itself to his exclusive asigned spot; or choose to move manually to their spot as usual ( a "ghost" plane, stopped and centered, where it should stop with the form of used plane can appear to help the pilot to match it (the ghost plane could only be seen by the user); if the plane no fit exactly, then the plane instantly accommodate and the ground crew can start arming and refueling automatically by an scripted sequence. Rearm and refuel: The time duration from this actions can be regulated for the user and/or the server, and can be set in several time options, for example: A- Normal time ( the real time for rearm and refuel the plane ) B- Accelerate time. C- Instantly. That's it all I can imagine for a mayor immersion and realism, and not an empty huge concrete plataforms. -
I really want it to be the Douglas A-4 Skyhawk (Vietnam, Middle East and South Atlantic conflicts); but if they use the word milestone; among others, if it is a an helicopter I can think on the Kamov Ka-27 Helix full ASW implemented. (I read somewhere DCS start making an AI SSK/SSN submarine); or the Boeing CH-47 Chinook (twin-engined, tandem rotor, heavy-lift helicopter). Instead if it were a plane, could be the Tupolev Tu-22 Backfire (Carrier killer); another that could also be is the Sukhoi Su-17/20/22 Fitter family.
